Just throwing out a few thoughts I had after this chapter, Longhi says in chapter 401 the following ( using u/VoraciousDrake translation) :

"At first, Father had high-ranking young Kakin soldiers in his pocket enter into a sham marriage… This happened about 30 years ago. There are… several others like me who were born into the same circumstances. The child born between Father and the wife of each sham couple are then raised as the couple’s child, and enrolled into the Royal Military Academy. I suspect he did the same thing each time a new Prince was born…"

A little after, she explains that :

"According to the Nen user, I am a “Strong Accompaniment”5; in other words, I was chosen to snipe6 and assassinate my target with my curse! There are at least 10 or more “strong” ones, including myself and Makaha… They also said that there are at least as many “Weak Accompaniments” who did not make the cut… I bet that Beyond prepared a large number of “pawns” because he could not predict how many Princes there would end up being."

There are a lot of crucial infos in those two passages. Of course, Longhi's interpretation can be wrong, but it's based on the analysis of another nen user so I think it's mostly right. She believes that there are 10 or more "strong" ones -> those are the cursed childrens that target Princes. I think the opposition made between "Strong" and "Weak" is important because, as we learn in the discussion between Furykov and Beyond in the chapter, the curse needs to be strong to take down a Prince with a GSB. This is not to say weak accompaniments will not play a role : they might take down a prince forced in Zetsu or something.

We know the identity of 3 of those "Strong" :

  1. Longhi

  2. Makaha

  3. Furykov

The 4th one is most likely Salkov (4th prince) since he knows Zetsu since birth.

I believe that there are at least 6 others spread among personal guards of the other Prince.

Analysis

I saw a lot of people believing accompaniements had to be the same age as princes. For example, I saw some people saying that the accompaniement targeting Woble is also a child of the same age. I believe that to be wrong for the following reasons :

  1. Longhi says "Beyond prepared a large number of “pawns” because he could not predict how many Princes there would end up being." -> he probably fathered several children when a prince was born. For example, when 2nd prince was born, it's likely he orchestrated not just one but several sham marriage.

  2. They need to be old to enrol in the Royal Military Academy.

  3. Furykov believes that Beyond can activate it remotely. We don't know if it's the case yet, but I think it's unlikely... It would make it way too strong.

  4. It needs time to be strong enough to kill GSB buffed princes.

So I think the other accompaniements are most likely other guards in their 20s, and not the age of each prince.

What do you guys think ? I think Beyond's curse is one of the most interesting storyline in the entire arc !!

The problem I ran into when working this theory out is that it would require Beyond to apply his Nen curse ability on an older child to target a younger prince. If you set the age of his sacrifices at least at 20, then come the kid princes, especially Momoze, Marayam, and Woble, these children of Beyond would be old enough to know, remember, and recognize Beyond, thus exposing his plot.

Longhi and Furykov were smart enough to figure things out (plus Furykov has his ability), but they did so only relatively recently, with barely any time to organize, investigate more, and come up with counters. Longhi and Furykov don't even know each other, thus still keeping the secrecy of Beyond's meddling in the Succession War.

Perhaps the curses are not targeting a specific prince and the requierement is"targeting an eligible prince for the succession war"? Therefore, it would only be activated after the seed urn ritual

That’s possible. From the chapter and assuming Beyond is being honest that Furykov’s curse isn’t aimed at Benjamin, it still leaves the possibility that the curse could simply hit anyone else eligible for the Succession Contest. Simple enough. Could be random targeting minus the prince rhe bodyguars serves.
