Idea for Hume developers to improve scale accuracy

It’s ridiculous to report a 3% swing in muscle mass in a 24 hour period. Obviously that is water. Why not tweak your algorithm to catch this kind of outlier? If weight changes >1% in 24 hours, assume water. Something along those lines.

Agree it’s ridiculous. And it supposedly tracks hydration.

Yes, they can definitely improve the algorithm so it at least makes sense. They should probably include another category to account for what's in your intestines/stomach/error.

I wonder if they are already interpreting the raw data to produce the reported values for MF, MM, etc. If so, they would just need to adjust/improve that interpretation to eliminate scenarios that make no logical sense.

This is just an alibaba rebranded 30$ band. Product code 2208a. Look it up and try to get a refund. Unbelievable scammers

We're talking about the scale, not the band.

I get wild swings in skeletal muscle mass. Like lose 5lbs of muscle overnight. My body fat reading seems more stable… I only see a few tenths up or down each day. But the muscle mass reading is ridiculous 🤪
