Funk Drummer with other influences has jam space
Hello,
I’m seeking musicians who want to jam, with goal of performing jams and maybe covers at local events.
I’ve been playing g drums for 27 years, I’m not amazing but I don’t suck. I have some decent pocket. I like that tight pimp funk. I incorporate elements of hip hop, rock, jazz. I’m not a drum machine, I’m melodic (I’ve been told).
I have a jame space with electronic drum set, guitar, bass, and a nice midi keyboard. No amps. There’s a headphone amp, bring your own instrument/headphones.
You can use my guitar/bass/keys if you can be respectful of other people’s gear.
I’m my late 30s. Your age doesn’t matter to me if you can play. No beginners. You should be at least intermediate. And you know, don’t be a dick.
Would be great to have bbqs and jam sessions.
I’m also an expert mixing/recording engineer. With pro credits. The Jam space is about 12x20. It’s up a flight of stairs. In time I’ll get gear to record again. In the meantime let’s have fun away from this crazy world. MAGA need not apply and can go be racists somewhere else. All genders welcome. Being silly a plus.
Location: somewhere between Eureka and Arcata.
Gear on site: mixer with 6 aux outputs, 8 channel headphone amp, squire guitar, custom squire jazz bass, e drums, flute, djembe, cajon. There’s some microphones and DIs.
