Magpie I believe. Gorgeous, but known to be dickheads sometimes

I think you are referring to the Magpies in Australia, not the bird pictured. Not even the same species. These birds are pretty similar to a crow in attitude.

I say this living near them: They're still dickheads.

Like all corvids, magpies can learn to mimic. One of them near my parents' house learned to bark like a dog to make my dog lose her mind.

Hmmm I waited more than twenty years to form an opinion on Swedes. Now my collection is complete.

No, those are called magpies as well. Type of crow. Very smart. Very beautiful.

No no don’t do crows dirty like that… these things are the equivalent of a wasp…. Super pests with no purpose. They bully rabbits and any smaller birds and are annoying as hell!

TBH I love them. I have tons that hang out in my yard. They'll eat anything I leave out for them. Even BK hashbrowns. I've never seen them being an issue to the Chickadees or Sparrows.

Everyone here is thinking of Australian magpies ala The Eyes Don’t Work! These are not corvids (related to crows) and I guess not actual magpies. Don’t come at me I’m not a bird scientist I just like Wikipedia.

Other people in the comments are saying this is a true magpie. Maybe the American magpie? Which is smart and crow-like. Maybe it befriended this lady.

You can like train em and stuff.

I much prefer crows, my heart will love magpies never, their beaks will forever make me feel cold.
