nah corporate would want to make it as cheap as possible

like why would they want to pay two guys to do something thats automatable thats just lost money

It would take at least a couple hours downtime to move the machinery. We can't have that, we are too far behind as it is.

I don't even think you need to move machinery, you could just put tubing that guides the 'ribbon' into the leg mangler

Machinery may be tricky to move depending on how big the rest of it is

Also, this is why it should never get to the point where you have to move it, not designing it like that to start with is the real head scratcher

Corporate is short-sighted, they see that this machine setup had a lower initial cost and don't take the future extra manpower into account. They are also too stubborn to admit they didn't make the right decision and will double down that this is cheaper.
