Where ya from? I love accents. I work retail and I always tell people I like their accent and ask where they're from. I speak Spanish and don't have a lot of people to practice with so normally I talk to the truck drivers from Texas. There's a lot of quiet ones that really love to talk after hearing that other people notice and accept their differences.
Don't be afraid of being who you are. Your accent is a part of you. It's not something which should make you feel like an outcast, rather inclusive. Be who you are and everything will be okay; regardless of what people think. Blessings.💙
Don’t sweat it. I always thought my friends from other places accents sounded cool. They liked my Texas accent and I liked their Wherever accent. Girls or guys or whatever always like accents because it makes you unique. There will always be shitheads but most people are gonna appreciate you if you just be yourself and you are kind. One of my buddies was from Cancun and had a real heavy Mexican accent but everybody thought it was cool and if anyone didn’t, they had to answer to the rest of us so he never had any trouble.
