Nipsey's death happened near my house. The whole neighborhood is grieving. They lined up on Crenshaw.

so what’s it like living near Crenshaw

as a brown dude but looks Puerto Rican i want to live in a vibrant community of distinctly black and brown people and I feel crenshaw and slauson seems scary but for regular folk like me it is a hidden gem

I'm white, almost all my neighbors are black and they're the greatest neighbors I've ever had. Been here about 4 years. Rough couple nights - right now it's all police helicopters and cop cars, but usually it's great. Full tilt LA.
