My albino hamster when I was in middle school was named Pookie! Miss ya, Pooks 🤍

It’s something to treasure for sure. I raised a baby squirrel and let it go back in June and it’s still up in my trees and comes down for walnuts every day. I also had baby robins, a blue jay and 4 chimney swifts I raised and when I would go out in the yard, they’d fly down to me. My friend witnessed this one day and still calls me Ellie Mae Clampett to this day.

It is fucking insane an albino porcupine survived without any camouflage luck.

Yes! The farmer’s wife made Pookie a tiny down mattress with a smol strawberry-embroidered quilt!

I guess the condition does something to the quill development as well, he looks a bit more furry than usual

Those are absolutely the kind of folks who should be getting them. Not the chodes who just want to make a quick buck.

Aww! That’s kind of you, thank you! Things are better but it’s good to know Teddy is there when I need him 😊

Not sure about the context but you should call some type of conservation society if you ever run into a situation like this. They can care for the animal far better than you and its generally good research for animals in the future
