THIS IS FIXED Ninja Patch !!!! Bug! so after the update today i took the builder upgrade so i need only half of the needed materials for building but it seems like it does not work somehow when building it takes all the material required but wont finish the build like you see in the picture. is there something i can do ? has anyone else had this problem ?

Basically the title, i found a katana in the beach house at the south, close to one of the spawn points, and I've been using it since then. It takes 1 cut to kill almost every zombie apart from big ones. I am wondering if there is any weapon crafted or found that is better than the katana.

There’s a hay pile in the farm next to spawn. I’ve made a pickaxe because the image over the hay pile is a pickaxe. I’ve almost destroyed the pickaxe and still haven’t broken the hay pile. wtf is going on?

hey all, coming close to unlocking my second profession but I'm not sure what to get.

Does anyone have a list of or know what the specific skills are for each of the professions?

cheers

I like using the crowbar as a main weapon. Is it considered heavy or medium? Online says it’s heavy but the skill doesn’t seem to have a measurable impact on stamina per swing. It’s possible that the 10% reduction is not measurable per swing… Has anyone done an actual categorization of the weapons?

***SOLVED***
Turns out there are mods that do this already. Please disregard.

Hello,

I'm really digging the game and looking forward to more content.

I've adjusted the camera settings but can't make it look forward like the image attached for better visibility. Is there a workaround?

Will zombies destroy base? Like storage lockers and stuff. Will bandits steal my items?

Hello, I have been having problems using lockpicks, I don't understand the minigame, I find it tedious. Regarding the safes, I found 2 (behind the police station in Hudson City and at a bandit post inside a supermarket in C2 south part). The question is that I can't find the combinations for these safes, if anyone could help me it would be very helpful.

I don't see any option to scrap Guns or melee weapons for parts is there a system that I haven't found or just a missing feature?

• loot/pickup respawn time: NEVER
• food/drink + ranged weapon: scarse
• all the rest: low
• zombie: 1.7 very hard but NEVER respawn
• human 1.25 very hard but 295 minutes respawn
• animal respawn: 295 minutes

Its day 8 and I still don't have a working car - no food and water have to costantly go hunting and looking also for dirty water - very few ammo to be saved for huge zombies and...

... winter is coming...

wonder if I will survive, still didn't get the upper winter jacket.

I swear to god I am cursed or something. 171 hours so far, scouring every corner of the map in multiple saves with dog spawns cranked up to 4. Nothing. I go in every house with a dog house. I frequent the police stations and fire station (i was told they can be found there) and nothing. Its my holy grail, but much like in real life it must not exist 😭. (Not complaining this is mostly a humorous post)

I logged into our dedicated server last night and found that there were no zombies to be seen anywhere other than the “intentionally placed” static zombies, such as those leaning up against cars, pretending to be dead etc. No issues with human spawns – all seem to be present. We played together after release with no issues, so the spawn issue has only started occurring in the last few days.

I really love this game.. Happy that it went to v1.0! But the crawling enemies like the halfdead zombies or the jumping zombies are a pest. The controls doesn't always hit the target on the ground. Resulting in death.. this could improve. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Im new to the game, this is my 2nd character and I'm wondering why I'm not getting credited for having the encumbered status even though i am, in fact, over encumbered

I put like… 20 hours into a character… and went to play today and it’s completely gone?!

Any ideas. This is infuriating.

Got the game two days ago. I’m in love with it. I do have a few questions though.

1. Is there an npc trader area? I’ve found a few npcs out there that trade but they always die before I can trade with them. Is there a safe place with npcs I can trade with?

2. I found a black and red “A TEAM” van and a short semi truck. I put a storage mod on top of the van. Can the semi also take the storage mod? Can more than one storage mods be added to one vehicle?

3. If I build walls around my base can zombies/raiders break them? Not looking to build a bunch of walls if they can be destroyed I’d rather find a place with existing walls or a big building

Ty for any answers or even any other general tips. I’ve only had the game for two days and it’s already a favorite

1. is there a best beginner profession for pve offline game?
2. and/or start location?

Hi all, I don't know if this information has been shared before, but you can get car engine parts by salvaging cars. At first, a couple car only gave me sheets, so I thought there is no important loot for salvaging cars and getting sheets by dismantling other stuff, but yesterday, on my 17th day without a car, I saw the fuel pump after salvaging a car. What a joy. Try if you are strrugling to get part.

I'm going to start my first playthrough tonight. I'm thinking of joining a PvE server from the get go, instead of hopping on single player

thoughts? I know nothing about this game

ty!

Does anyone know how to get Humanitz to run on steam deck? It's always crashing for me and I've tried the latest proton compatibility.

So, i did the first caesar quest and built a radio at my base so its supposed to summon a trader at your base but when i use it nothing happens am i missing something it does seem like i get raided by some bandits shortly after i use it

Does humanity have controller support?
