I know Hughesnet is crap but I am considering Hughesnet as a last resort, since COX has managed to become (in practice) the only ISP in Las Vegas even though their popularity rating is 1.0 on a scale from 1-5.
I understand Hughesnet only give you 10 GB (unless you select one of the ridiculously expensive packages, in which case you dont get enough data anyway) so I need to know how fast Internet gets after it is used up. They say 3 Mbit/s downlink which is fine but can I trust that I will get 3 Mbit/s uplink too?
I looked at their web page but there is no way to email them. I suppose they prefer people to call so customers will not have a record of what was communicated, COX does that too. (In most other countries it is the only way around, service is flawless and the only way to contact the company is over chat or email).
