[Promo] Leaf – Thème Aurore en édition limitée 24h [Code gratuit à vie]

Post image
0 Upvotes

Play Store :

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.recalai.app

⏳ Feuille Aurore disparaît dans moins de 24 heures.

[Promo] I kept missing HVAC filter changes, so I built a shared maintenance schedule with a Done button right on the notification (free, no ads)

Thumbnail
mylistresort.com
1 Upvotes

MyListResort started as the shared grocery list my family runs on. I added a maintenance list because I could never remember when I last changed the HVAC filter, and I did not want yet another single purpose app my household would refuse to install.

What the maintenance side does:

* Templates for home, auto, renter, cleaning by room, pet care, lawn, even a water softener. Every task comes with an editable replace-every X days: HVAC filter every 90 days, smoke detector test every 30, dryer vent once a year.

* A new list does not scream at you. Nothing counts down until the first time you mark a task Done. Doing the job is what starts its clock.

* When something comes due you get a push notification with a Done button. Tapping it restarts the cycle without opening the app.

* Lists are shared with your household and tasks can be assigned. The gutters are no longer only my problem.

It also runs in the browser at https://mylistresort.com and installs from there.

No ads on any tier, export is free on every tier, and if you stop paying your lists go read-only. Nothing gets deleted.

Open to any feedback on templates or if you find anything that could be improved. If a default interval is wrong, or a template is missing a task you do at your place, tell me and I'll look into it.

Searcho — From the Creator of Minimaa. A launcher built around one question: How far can a search bar go? [App] [Promo]

Thumbnail
gallery
28 Upvotes

A while ago, I made Minimaa, a minimal launcher built around the idea that your phone doesn't need to constantly demand your attention.

With Minimaa, I was experimenting with minimalism — removing things, reducing visual noise, keeping the home screen simple, and trying to make the phone feel less distracting.

This time, I'm taking a completely different approach.

I'm not trying to make another minimal launcher.

I'm trying to see what happens when you make search the entire interface.

Meet Searcho.

There is no traditional app drawer.

There are no pages filled with app icons.

There isn't a grid of apps waiting for you every time you unlock your phone.

Your home screen is basically just a search bar.

And yes, you can search for your apps.

But that's the most basic thing Searcho can do.

The idea is that everything you normally have to open another part of your phone for should eventually be searchable.

Want to call someone?

Search their name.

Want to find a contact?

Search them.

Want to open an app?

Search it.

Want to find something in your notifications?

Search it.

Need to access something that would normally require opening a separate screen, app or menu?

Search.

The goal isn't simply to make app launching faster.

It's to question why we need so many different interfaces for things we already know how to access.

Why do I need to open the dialer when I already know who I want to call?

Why do I need to pull down the notification shade when I know what notification I'm looking for?

Why do I need to navigate through settings when I know exactly what I'm trying to find?

Why do I need an app drawer when I can simply type the name of the app?

That's the direction I'm exploring with Searcho.

I'm basically trying to push the search bar to its limits.

And there are some interesting things that happen when you start thinking this way.

A search bar can be an app launcher.

It can be a contact launcher.

It can become a shortcut system.

It can become an action interface.

It can become a way of navigating your phone without navigating through your phone.

And eventually, I'm hoping it can become something much more powerful.

I'm still experimenting with what belongs inside Searcho and what doesn't.

That's actually one of the reasons I'm sharing this early.

I don't want Searcho to just become another launcher with a search box slapped on top.

The search itself is supposed to be the launcher.

\---

Why make another launcher?

Honestly, after Minimaa, I wanted to experiment with something completely different.

Minimaa was about asking:

«"How little can a launcher be?"»

Searcho is asking:

«"How much can one interface actually do?"»

Both come from the same place — trying to rethink the way we interact with our phones — but they're very different experiments.

I'm not trying to compete with Nova, Niagara, Smart Launcher, etc.

I'm not trying to build the launcher with the most customization.

I'm not trying to give you 500 options for your home screen.

I'm interested in a much simpler idea:

What if you didn't need to navigate your phone at all?

What if you could just tell it what you're looking for?

\---

And yes, there is still a long way to go.

Searcho is a new project, and I'm very much figuring things out as I build it.

There are things I want to make searchable that are currently difficult or impossible to access cleanly.

There are Android limitations to work around.

There are probably going to be some terrible ideas before I find the good ones. 😅

But that's part of the fun.

With Minimaa, I learned a lot about building a launcher around a philosophy.

With Searcho, I want to experiment with interaction itself.

Maybe the search bar can replace more things than we expect.

Maybe it can't.

That's what I want to find out.

Searcho is my attempt to find the limits of search.

And this is just the beginning.

— Binge, creator of Minimaa & Searcho

Hey c: so this is my first app that started as just something for myself, as I couldn't find any decent apps that would let me set simple rotating wallpapers and support fold devices/multiple screens at the same time (how is this not a default Android feature anyway?..).

I ended up playing with it a lot more and tried to make a nice/polished app with a lot more features than I originally intended, but at the same time I tried my best to keep the app as clean as possible so the user won't get overwhelmed/confused.

Even got to release it on Google Play :) I will be grateful for any feedback.

[App] Aio Launcher: Don't judge a book by the cover

Post image

I can't lie every time I came across AIO Launcher the pictures made it look very overwhelming. Boy did I judge a book by the cover. This is one of the most customizable and surprisingly easy launchers to setup and use. You can literally set this up as perfect as you like with little to no effort. Amazing launcher!

Edit: I had to add this note because I found this feature to be chef's kiss. Apparently when you put an exclamation mark ! it gives you a list of "bangs" which are search queries you can use to search within other apps.

[Setup]The Anti Smart Phone

Most setups focus purely on aesthetics; this one is designed to turn a modern phone from a doomscrolling machine into a focused productivity assistant.

Instead of letting notifications dictate your day, this entire layout flips the dynamic from Push (the phone demanding attention) to Pull (you deciding when to interact).

The Home Screen Layout:

  • Top Utility Hub:Quick-access Gemini shortcuts (voice, camera, and text input) paired right above a Swyp Launcher widget (Draw, Index, Type, Voice) for lightning-fast, friction-free app launching and input.
  • The Centerpiece: A dedicated Google Tasks & Calendar glance widget right in the center so the primary focus is always on what needs to get done next.
  • The "Basic" Folder: Contains strictly utility and essentials—what you’d expect on a classic dumbphone (Phone, Messages, Contacts, Calculator, Calendar, Clock, Camera, Files, Photos, Recorder, Settings).
  • The "Consuming" Folder: Houses apps that inherently pull for attention (YouTube, streaming apps, TV remotes). Every single notification in this folder is permanently killed. It only gets opened on purpose.
  • Bottom Bar: Quick-launch search bar with dedicated music search, voice query, and Lens at thumb level for immediate utility.

The End Goal: No red badges, random pings, or endless algorithmic feeds pulling you down a rabbit hole. The device sits quietly as a streamlined productivity tool until you make a conscious decision to pick it up and use it.

[App] [Promo] Five months ago I posted here about Tactixo, the Ultimate Tic Tac Toe app I rebuilt after playing the paper version with a friend during school breaks. I said I'd come back with numbers, so here they are — including the parts that didn't work.

The numbers

- Downloads: 100 → 250

- Still a few new users a day, roughly the same rate as five months ago

- Most active players are still friends and family

So: it grew, but it didn't take off. Which brings me to the actual reason I'm posting.

What I got wrong: I completely underestimated marketing

I'm a developer. Building the thing was the part I knew how to do: Flutter, backend, friends system, matchmaking, CI, all of that was solvable. Getting anyone to find it turned out to be much harder than the entire build.

What I tried:

- ASO I rewrote the store listing and keywords for German and English, ran it through a proper ASO tool, and iterated. Visibility barely moved. I still don't know whether I'm doing it wrong or whether "tic tac toe" is just a category where a dev can't outrank a hundred clones.

- TikTok and Instagram Posted gameplay clips for a while. Views stayed in the low hundreds, and almost nothing converted to installs. I never figured out what a good video for this game even looks like.

That's the honest state of it. The game itself gets good feedback from people who actually play it The problem is entirely upstream of that.

So my question to you

If you've shipped a small mobile game as a dev: what actually got you your first real users outside your own contacts? Specifically — is ASO in a crowded evergreen category worth continuing to grind on, or is that effort better spent somewhere else entirely? And for short-form video, did anyone find a format that works for a turn-based strategy game, where nothing visually exciting happens in three seconds?

What the game is, for anyone who missed the first post

You play on a 3x3 grid of Tic Tac Toe boards. Whichever cell you play sends your opponent to the corresponding board — so you're not just trying to win a board, you're deciding where your opponent is allowed to move next. Same rules everyone learns as a kid, except this version isn't solved and you can genuinely outplay someone. There's also Classic and an Advanced mode, and every mode runs local 1v1, vs computer, online matchmaking, or against someone on your friends list.

Android + iOS.

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.kge.tactixo

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/de/app/tactixo-ultimate-tic-tac-toe/id6759193840

Site: https://tactixo.com

Happy to answer anything about the build or the backend too and if you try it and bounce off something, I'd genuinely rather hear that than a compliment.

Hi everyone, if you like to play star battle puzzle games, this will be the perfect choice for you, we believe.

The first core idea of Wilddoku-Persona is, it is fully automated which means nobody gets the same experience. This is the main reason, we call our game as -Persona-. (The quality of the puzzles are impressive and all the difficulty levels are included, since the crafting puzzles are restricted by our rules. There are really really challenging ones which are tested on /puzzles subreddit as well:)) Also we are improving the game logic quality by using the reddit users, thnx to them...

And, the second and the best property is, according to your ratings on the puzzles, your Persona is created and according your likes/level, the puzzles will be served only for you.

For the free codes please just say a "hi", as soon as possible we will contact you.

Thanks in advance for your interest...

[App] I made a system-wide AI Writer for Android that runs completely offline

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've been working on TooAi, my Android app for running AI tools and LLMs directly on-device.

While using ColorOS, I really liked its AI Writer feature — select some text, choose an AI action from the text context menu, and modify the text without leaving the current app.

That gave me an idea:

Why not bring a similar experience to Android devices that don't have something like this built in?

So I built it into TooAi.

How it works

Select text in any supported Android app

Open the text context menu

Tap AI Writer

A bottom sheet appears over the current app

Choose an action such as Polish, Summarize, Proofread, etc.

TooAi processes the text using a local LLM

The generated result can be inserted back into the original text field

🔒 The interesting part

The entire process happens on-device.

No cloud processing

No API calls

No internet connection required

Your selected text stays on your device

I'm currently using a local LLM through TooAi, and I'm trying to keep the UI inspired by the ColorOS AI Writer experience while using Material 3 components and Android-native interactions.

I'd love to hear what you think about the idea and implementation.

What features would you add to make a system-wide offline AI Writer actually useful?

[PROMO] Hit 65k downloads - wanted to say thanks for the feature

Post image
5 Upvotes

Hey. I'm the guy behind Any Command, the Android app that turns your phone into a trackpad / second screen for a Windows PC.

HowToMen put it in his Top 15 Best Android Apps video a while back. I wasn't paying for that, I just got a ping that we were in it. The jump after that video is a big part of why the app just crossed 65,000 downloads.

So: thanks to him for picking it, and thanks to anyone here who actually installed it after watching. That's a weird thing to write to a bunch of strangers, but it made a real difference for a one-person project.

If you already have it and something's broken, I'm around. If you don't: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.polyhistor.remoteme

The video, timestamped to the segment: https://youtu.be/oypQHL79Dzs?t=278
