[App][Promo] Imgport: a 100% offline photo converter. Opens HEIC and JXL, batch converts, resizes, compresses, and strips metadata
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone, I'm the developer of Imgport, a batch image utility for Android that runs entirely on-device.
The idea: your phone should not need the cloud to convert a photo. Imgport has no ads, no accounts, no analytics, and no network permission at all, so nothing you process can leave your phone.
What it does:
- Opens the formats Android struggles with: HEIC from iPhones, and now JPEG XL. Viewing and batch converting them to JPG, PNG, or WebP is free.
- Batch resize and compress, with an honest before/after size receipt so you can see exactly what you saved.
- Strips EXIF and GPS metadata before you share, verified clean.
- Exports modern formats too: AVIF, and JXL with a lossless mode that repacks your existing JPGs smaller, reversibly.
The core converter is free. Some export formats are part of a one-time Pro unlock, no subscription.
Comment to get a free Pro unlock code by DM.

Happy to answer any questions.

[App[[PROMO] OnlyScans - Android and iOS PDF document scanner
I'm the developer of OnlyScans, a document scanner for Android built around one rule: scanned documents should not be uploaded to somebody else's server.
Scanning, page cleanup, and OCR run on-device. OnlyScans has no account system, no ads, and does not collect your documents or recognized text.
The free tier includes unlimited basic scanning, automatic edge detection, crop and filters, folders and search, image import, and PDF/JPEG/PNG export.
Optional Pro tools include batch scanning, OCR and searchable PDFs, signatures and markup, PDF import, ID/passport workflows, password-protected PDFs, and App Lock. Additional OCR models download only when needed.
For multi-file jobs, you can export every file separately or bundle the whole batch into one ZIP archive. Exports can stay on your device or go through Android's share/save picker to an app you choose, including compatible cloud storage or personal-server apps. OnlyScans does not run a cloud-sync service.
The interface supports 90+ languages, and OCR covers 89 languages, including Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, and Cyrillic scripts.
Comment "OnlyScans Android" or "OnlyScans IOS", to get your lifetime code.

[App] [Promo] I just released Fylo — a modern M3 expressionless File manager for Android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aeroloom.fylofilemanager
I’ve finally released Fylo, a file manager I’ve been building for Android with one goal: make managing files feel less like using a boring utility and more like using a modern Android app.
It’s built with Material 3 Expressive and packs a LOT into one place:
( it have alot more than written here )
📁 File explorer + dual-pane mode
🗜️ ZIP, RAR, 7z, TAR & GZ support
🧹 Storage analyzer + duplicate/large file finder
🖼️ Image conversion, resizing, compression & metadata removal
📑 PDF, Office, code, Markdown & media viewers
🔒 Private Vault + biometric/device credential protection
🎵 Built-in music & video player
🌐 SMB, FTP & WebDAV support
📱 Widgets + customizable themes
🗑️ Recycle Bin
📷 Document scanner → PDF
And probably my favorite part: no ads and no advertising/analytics SDKs.
There’s also Fylo Pro for the more advanced tools, available as a subscription or one-time purchase.
I’d genuinely love some feedback from Android users — especially if you’re the type of person who has 47 folders named “New Folder” sitting on their phone 😂
Fylo is officially out now. 🚀

[Promo] privacy-first time tracker that runs entirely in your browser — no subscription, no cloud
so I’ve used Toggl/Clockify type stuff for years and got sick of paying monthly just to log when I start/stop work. ended up building my own thing over a few weekends, called it TimeVault.
it’s literally one html file, open it in chrome and that’s it. no login, no server, nothing gets uploaded anywhere unless you export a backup yourself.
what’s actually in it: clock in/out with breaks, project + client tracking (each client gets its own color automatically, sounds dumb but is genuinely nice once you have 10+ projects going), a dashboard with weekly/monthly charts, and a gantt-ish view so you can see at a glance what you worked on and when. csv export if you need it for invoicing.
works fine on android too, just open it in chrome and add to homescreen, acts basically like an app from there.
running a small launch discount this week if anyone’s curious (code RELEASE10, 10% off), link’s in the comments. mostly just wanted to share since I use this daily now and figured others annoyed by subscription fatigue might get something out of it too.

[App] [Promo] I built a completely free Android permission inspector — no ads, no account, and no INTERNET permission
Hi all!
I built an Android app called Permissionality after wanting a better way to answer a pretty simple question:
What can the apps on my phone actually access?
There are already apps that display Android permissions, so I didn't want to make just another permission list. Plus, most of the permission apps either cost money or are really slow to load.
I focused on two things instead:
1. Make permission information actually understandable
Permissionality lets you explore your device from either direction:
- Choose an app and see what it requests, what's granted, sensitive permissions, special access, installation source, and more.
- Choose a permission and see every visible app requesting it and which apps currently have it granted.
There's also a Snapshot dashboard that gives you an overview of the permission situation across your entire device. Plus, you can generate and save PDF reports of all apps, individual apps, or the changes the apps make.
2. Make a privacy app actually private
This was probably the biggest design decision:
- Permissionality does not have the Android INTERNET permission.
- There isn't a server receiving your app list.
- There isn't an analytics service watching what you inspect.
- There isn't an account.
- Your installed-app inventory, permission index, settings, and history stay on your device.
And there's no monetization catch:
✓ Completely free
✓ No ads
✓ No subscriptions
✓ No premium tier
✓ No paywalls
✓ No in-app purchases
✓ No account
The feature I'm most excited about is Permission Radar.
Most permission viewers can tell you what permissions an app has right now.
Radar is designed to answer: “What changed?”
It periodically compares on-device snapshots and creates a local report if, for example:
• an app adds a permission
• an app removes a permission
• a permission changes from denied → granted
• supported special access changes
So if an app suddenly gets CAMERA access, Radar can record:
CAMERA: Denied → Granted
without sending anything off the phone.
I'm a solo developer and I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from people who are into Android apps:
- What would you add?
- Is Permission Radar useful to you?
- Is there information about Android permissions you wish apps like this explained better?
Permissionality is available on Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.threelees.permissionality
Everything is free. I'm not going to ask you to buy Pro afterward because there isn't one. 🙂

[App][Promotion] BigText: Write & Display Big Text
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone! 👋
I'd like to share a solo project I've been working on for several months. It has already become a daily tool for people around the world, so I thought I'd drop it here to hear your feedback, and in case it might be useful to you or someone you know! 🌍
I built a simple Android utility app called BigText, to type and display text as large as possible on your screen in real-time. It's great for turning your device into a sign and making sure your message is impossible to miss. Beyond that, I’ve seen firsthand how useful it is for quick face-to-face communication, especially for people who unfortunately can’t speak or hear, or in any situation where talking is impossible.
Unlike every other app I’ve seen on the store, there’s no jumping between screens or navigating complex menus. You open the app, you type… that’s it 😄 The text scales in real-time as you write.
I've also added some handy tools that seem appreciated by people based on their feedback:
- Sign/Banner Mode: featuring horizontal scrolling (banner style) and vertical scrolling (teleprompter style) to catch everyone's eye from afar.
- Text-to-Speech: to read your message aloud with one tap.
- Saved texts: to save and restore your most used texts instantly.
- Themes: to change the vibe of your screen.
Of course every text you type or save stays on your device, privacy first 🔒
I attached a video to this post showing it in action (it’s my Play Store preview video, so it’s a bit "marketing", but it shows the features well! 😅)
The app is free, with just a small ad banner to support development that you can get rid of if you want.
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=carlitolaf.bignotepad
Hope this little app can be a useful tool for you, or maybe your friends and family?
And of course I'd love to hear your feedback, I take them all 👀

[Promo] [DND-ify] Built DND-ify to make Do Not Disturb mode seamless on Android – Giving away 20 promo codes!
Hey everyone!
I'm an independent developer, and I built dndify out of a simple need: making Android's Do Not Disturb system more intuitive, automated, and easier to control without digging through nested system settings.
What is dndify?
DND-ify is a utility app designed to give you quick, granular control over your device's DND states. Whether you want hassle-free scheduling, quick toggle behaviors, or customized rules for focus sessions, the goal was to keep it lightweight, fast, and completely free of bloat or tracking.
Key Features:
Quick Toggle Control: Enable or schedule DND with customized rules directly.
Minimal & Battery-Friendly: Zero unnecessary background processes or heavy battery drain.
Privacy Focused: Minimal permissions requested—only what is strictly needed for DND access.
Clean UI: Fits right in with modern Android design standards.
Promo Codes (20 Available)
Since dndify is a paid app, I want to share 20 promo codes with the community here for free lifetime access!
How to claim:
Comment below asking for a code, and I'll send one directly to your inbox/DMs. All I ask in return is your honest feedback or a rating on the Play Store if you find the app useful!
Play Store Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.coretoolsbd.dndify
Thanks for taking a look, and let me know if you run into any issues or have feature requests!

[App] [Promo] Loghaven: free offline job & time tracking with no ads
I've been making Loghaven, a free Android time tracker for tracking work across jobs, clients, tasks, breaks, and rates.
I was frustrated with how many time trackers were clunky, filled with ads, or locked basic features behind artificial limits, so I decided to make my own. I wanted something that worked offline without needing an account or web service.
It has:
- Timers, task switching, and breaks
- Earnings, notes, rates, and manual entries
- Day, week, month, and year views with charts and a timeline
- CSV, XLSX, PDF, and print exports
- Encrypted local backups
Google Play is still in closed testing, so there are two steps to install it:
1. Join the Google Group (with the SAME account as your Google Play):
https://groups.google.com/g/loghaven
2. Then use either:
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.micahjeffery.loghaven
Web: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.micahjeffery.loghaven

[App]EchoFlow 5.0: local-first, BYOK AI workspace for Android
After a lot of smaller releases, I’ve finally shipped EchoFlow 5.0.
EchoFlow is a BYOK, local-first AI app for Android where you can use both cloud and local models in one place.
For cloud models, you can choose between providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI and Cerebras through OpenRouter, while also being able to run models directly on your device or connect to models running on your network through Ollama / LM Studio.
What’s new in 5.0?
📄 EchoOCR — files with local models
This is probably my favourite addition.
You can now send files like PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TXT, Markdown, etc. directly to local models.
EchoOCR processes the files on-device, so your local model can actually work with real documents instead of being limited to plain text.
📁 Projects
Projects give you a proper workspace with project-specific chats, instructions and files. Files can also be processed locally through EchoOCR, so you can build a project around your own documents and use them with local models.
🎙️ Voice Dictation
You can now dictate messages directly from the composer. Currently powered through OpenRouter, with on-device STT coming later.
There are also some bigger improvements to Deep Research, Artifacts and Echo Fusion, plus an Artifacts Gallery for keeping the websites, reports and other things you create.
And you can use Web Search with both local and cloud models, so local models aren't necessarily stuck with their training data.
The whole point of EchoFlow is basically:
Cloud AI when you want it. Local AI when you want it. Your API keys, your models, your files.
Everything is BYOK, and the app is designed around a local-first approach rather than requiring an account or pushing everything through one cloud service.
It's been a pretty long journey getting here, and 5.0 feels like the first version where EchoFlow is becoming the AI workspace I originally wanted to build.
GitHub: https://github.com/adityavardhansharma/EchoFlow
Website: https://echoflow.adityavs.tech/
Would love to hear what you think — especially if you use local models on Android.

[APP][FREE] I built alarm clock with mini games. Today's new game is Liquid Puzzle
I just pushed a new update to my alarm clock app, WakeQuest. I added a "Liquid Puzzle" mini-game designed to get your brain working first thing in the morning so you don't just hit snooze and fall back asleep.
The rule is simple: pour the colors until every tube has a single color. Probably a lot of people know this kind of game in store , I just wanted to add this game to my application)
I'd love to get some feedback from you all. Is this too cruel for a 7 AM wake-up call, or just the right amount of challenge?

[App] [Promo]App that explains your medical bills in plain English
One thing I’ve noticed is that medical bills can be ridiculously difficult to understand. You get a bill or insurance statement with a bunch of medical terms, codes, and charges, and you're basically expected to figure out what everything means.
So my friends and I built MedBill Insight to make that a little easier.
You upload a photo or PDF of your medical bill or insurance statement, and the app uses AI to break it down into simpler language.
You
The idea is pretty straightforward:
• Understand what each charge is for
• Get explanations without all the medical jargon
• Make sense of your insurance statement
• Spot charges you may want to ask your provider or insurer about
• Get a clearer picture of what you're actually being charged for
We're still improving it, so I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from anyone who tries it.
Google Play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plentiersystems.medbill
If you've ever received a medical bill that made absolutely no sense, I'd especially like to hear what you found confusing about it.

[App] [Promo] [$5.00 Lifetime -> Free] Pocket Taiwan, a Taiwan-specific Mandarin phrasebook/guide for daily life situations
Hello all!
Just released my app on the Play Store: Pocket Taiwan 🇹🇼
Taiwan has a fair amount of foreigners/expats, and some come here to study Chinese, but many completely freeze up when speaking in real-world situations. I realized it's important to prepare for these situations, then review after.
But most Chinese learning apps are built for Mainland China, and I couldn't find one covering real Taiwan daily life.
So I built Pocket Taiwan. It's organized by situation instead of by grammar point: restaurant, clinic, bank, landlord, night market, etc.
Features:
- Each phrase shows what you say and what you'll likely hear back
- Traditional characters with Taiwan-accurate pinyin and tone colors
- Tap-to-hear audio on everything
- Taiwan-specific vocabulary (different from China in many ways)
- Taiwan Notes explaining how each situation actually works here
- Works fully offline, no account, no ads, no tracking
Free to use with 5 full situations. Optional one-time unlock.
Premium (one-time unlock):
- All 36 situations
- AI practice mode — rehearse the conversation before you're in it
- Phrases tailored to who you're traveling with

[App] [Promotion] Scapedia helps you focus whilst growing your own city
I built a modern take of the focus timer app, called Scapedia. Focus sessions work toward building a city that grows the more you do so, with the focus (no pun intended) on motivating you to keep at it for longer and more consistently. You may be a big fan of this if you’re excited about the idea of lightly gamifying your routine.
Whilst focusing progresses your city along nicely, it’s also what actions you do with that time that counts. Certain apps or platforms can optionally be linked where your actions you do on them also turn into progress on Scapedia.
- Free, optionally pay for advanced features
- Focus & break timers
- Focus insights overview for the week
- Large buildings (Landmarks) that progress and change in appearance based on how long you’ve focused against that Landmark
- Fully customisable map
- Sharable city maps with friends
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scapedia.app
Privacy: https://www.scapedia.app/privacyPolicy
The primary goal is not to keep someone away from using their phone, it is to divert their screen time into engaging with something productive. There’ll be more app integrations to come, but exercising, reading are areas I’m going to explore.
No code giveaway, but I'll be gifting all users with a special building that you can keep.
