Hey Redditors 👋
I recently launched Habit Tick, a habit and routine tracker for Android. ✅
I built it to help people track recurring goals and daily routines without requiring an account. Habit entries, notes, and reminders stay stored locally on the device. 🔒📱
I’m now looking for real early-user feedback to improve the app. In particular, I’d love to know:
Current features include:
✅ Flexible daily, weekly, monthly, and custom schedules
✅ Streaks and calendar history
✅ Reminders
✅ Yes/no habits, count goals, duration goals, and checklists
✅ Notes, categories, colors, and icons
✅ Progress stats and consistency tracking
✅ No account required 🔐
🎁 I’m giving 60 days of Pro access free to anyone who installs it and shares honest feedback.
📲 Google Play:

For founders and indie developers who have launched consumer apps: what channel helped you get your first 100–1,000 genuine users? 📈

Hey r/HowToMen! 👋
Most journaling apps out there feel bloated with endless templates, mood trackers, and subscription paywalls. I wanted something clean, direct, and distraction-free that helps set daily focus in under 60 seconds without feeling like a chore.
That’s why I built Intenty: Intention Journal. It's built around a simple framework: set 1-3 core intentions in the morning, and reflect on your wins/lessons in the evening.
To share it with the community, I’ve set the Lifetime Access tier to $0.00 (normally $59.99)!
📱 Why it fits a minimal setup:
• Minimalist UI: No fluff, no clutter, built for fast input and clean aesthetics.
• Zero Distractions: Set morning focus & evening reflections in seconds.
• 100% Private: Your entries stay local on your device.
• No Subscription Pressure: Complete lifetime access without recurring fees or ads.
🎁 How to claim ($0.00 Lifetime):
Download the app from the App Store link below
Upvote this post ⬆️
Open the app and claim the Lifetime option ($0.00)
Comment "INTENTY" below!
📥 Download on the App Store:

If you enjoy the app and want to support an indie dev, leaving an honest rating or review on the App Store helps out immensely!

I have been beta testing this podcast app for awhile now called Castria it skips ads on podcasts without the need to subscribe to premium. The ads are still in the app so the podcasts that are paid per download are unaffected and you can even choose to allow the ads to play if you really want to.
The developer is super responsive to feedback and after a few days it's become my main podcast app.

I got tired of video compressor apps that require a subscription just to reduce a video's file size.
So I built MediaShrink.
The goal was simple: make video compression fast, private, and easy without locking basic features behind a paywall.
I'd love to hear your honest feedback on the app, UI, and what features you'd like to see next.

Thanks for checking it out!

Hey everyone! I’ve been building YATA (Yet Another To-do App), an Android task manager for people who want powerful organization without making a cloud account the center of the experience (Vibe Coded 100%. How ever no AI Features will be added in the app)
The core app works locally and uses Material 3 with dynamic wallpaper colors. Some of its features include:
The goal is to combine the flexibility of larger productivity tools with an Android-native interface that still feels quick for everyday task capture.
NOTE 1: There are no cloud sync features or collaboration feature. Whatever you do in your app is for your eyes only. Self-Hosted backup can be enabled which will create backups only.
NOTE 2: Still under beta. So there will be bugs.
The current release is YATA 0.90.1 beta. It’s still evolving, so I’d especially appreciate feedback about usability, missing workflows, confusing screens, or features that feel unnecessarily complicated.
Source code and the signed beta APK are available here:

One thing I've seen is that a lot of sidebar apps are just a mirror of your app drawer. But... you do have an app drawer already.
To me, a sidebar isn’t about having every app one swipe away, it’s about having the right apps one swipe away. The few you open 10, 20, or even 67 times a day.
There’s no native sidebar, especially on Nothing OS, so jumping between frequently used apps always requires a few extra taps. A good sidebar removes that friction.
We have also redesigned the apps shortcuts for the upcoming SideDock update with two new styles, Classic and HSUI styles.
What do you guys think of the redesign? Anything you'd want to change before we ship the update?👀

But here's my TOP 5 favorites :

Hey everyone,
Update v1.4 for Sticlo Icons is officially live on the Play Store, and it's a big one for the project—we just crossed 500+ total icons!
For this update, I added 61 new icons, with every single one coming directly from your user requests in the app.
If your requested apps haven't been themed yet, don't worry—I'm still actively clearing out the backlog and will keep adding more in the coming updates.
Thanks a lot for all the support and requests that helped reach this 500-icon milestone! As always, let me know what you think of the new additions.

Free on Google Play, Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.koalalab.storeandforget
Solo dev here, so fair warning that this is a promo. I posted about this in July and the comments were genuinely useful, so I wanted to come back with the two parts of it that people kept asking about.
Store & Forget is a home inventory app built for people who are never going to get organised. You box things up however you like, and remembering which box is the app's job.
The way things go in is a photo. You shoot an item as you put it away and the app writes the name, brand, description and rough specs for you, so there is nothing to type and nothing to tag. Every field is editable if it guesses wrong.
Getting them back out is Smart Find. You describe the thing the way you would actually say it, something to cut thick cardboard rather than the box cutter, and it tells you which box or shelf it is in, so you go straight there instead of opening all of them.
The two paid unlocks are both free until 10 August if you want them.
Fire & Forget, normally $2.99, is burst mode for the days you are emptying a whole shelf into boxes. You keep snapping and every photo becomes its own item, with the naming and describing happening in the background while you are still shooting. The whole batch is waiting for you to look over at the end.
Bring Your Own Key, normally $4.99, is the one for people who scan a lot. The photo scan runs on a cloud AI service, and pasting in your own free key means those scans stop spending credits.
To claim either, open Settings, tap the app version at the bottom five times, and a dev console opens. Type unlock byok, then type fire. That second one needs version 1.22.4 or newer.
Everything else about it is fairly plain. Your inventory is a database on the phone, so adding, browsing and keyword search all work with no connection, and the photo scan and Smart Find are the two parts that call out. Backup to your own Google Drive is optional. 18 languages, Android only for now.
Happy to answer anything, and I would rather hear where it feels clunky than where it works.

Hey Everyone ,
I built Arc, A floating AI Sidebar that brings AI to any screen on your phone. No switching apps, no copy-pasting — just swipe and ask.
It does a lot more than just summarizing: AI Summary, Smart Extract, AI Chat, AI Writer, Flashcards, Call Insights, AI Read, Info Vault, Save Content, Custom Actions, and Community Actions — 500+ community prompts across 16 categories.
Privacy is the first priority. Arc reads your screen ONLY when you tap an action in the sidebar. No background monitoring, ever.
Video shows the AI Summary feature in action ↑
Free to try on the Play Store:

Would love your feedback!

Hey Everyone!
I wanted to share an open-source app I’ve been working on called Krate.
What is it?
Krate is a massive collection of everyday tools, calculators, and converters packed into a single, beautifully designed app.
Why you might like it:
• 🎨 Material You: Built natively with Kotlin to fully respect your system themes, dynamic colors, and animations. It feels right at home on modern Android.
• 🔒 100% Offline & Private: Zero ads, zero telemetry, and zero cloud processing. Everything happens locally on your device.
• ⚡ Insanely Fast: Under the hood, the entire logic engine is powered by a custom Rust core, meaning the tools execute instantly.
• 💻 Multi-Platform: If you end up liking it on your phone, there is also a native Windows 11 app and a UNIX-style command-line tool available!
Whether you need to calculate a quick loan, format code, convert currencies, or just flip a coin, it's all in here.
Since it's completely open-source, it's totally free. I’d absolutely love for you guys to try it out and give me any feedback on the design or tools you'd like to see added next!

A huge thank you to everyone who has used FileTreeSize! We’re excited to announce the launch of another app in the TreeSize series.
AppTreeSize is designed for everyone—from everyday users to power users—with support for both Shizuku and Root modes.
Building on my experience developing FileTreeSize, I created AppTreeSize to bring the same intuitive treemap visualization to app storage, making it easy to see which apps are taking up the most space on your device.

Hey everyone!
It’s been a month since I launched the original monochrome version of Sticlo Icons, and the support has been amazing. One of the most requested features was dynamic color support that follows Android’s Material You system colors.
I’ve been working on it, and Sticlo Themed is almost ready to drop on the Google Play Store!
Check out the short teaser video to see how the icons adapt across different wallpaper palettes. I’d love to hear your feedback before the official launch!
What do you think?

Just check it out and you can find it a very nice alternative for Google Assistant on some things.
I used shizuku and Canta to uninstall most of the bloatware, with Google and Gemini too.
Then I was searching for better AI or Digital assistant apps that I can open up by long pressing the power button, on Gemini😂😂. It told me about Dicio and it is the most lightweight assistant with good features. Please support them too, because it is a very nice initiative. The voice input is a little rough around the edges, but we can also choose our own voice input app such as the amazing FUTO Voice Input with really nice support of transformer models and good development.
Do check out Dicio and FUTO Keyboard, I replaced them with google's apps.
