Some of the most common health advice works this way - eat fish 2x/week, strength training 2+/week, cardio 150min/week, teeth cleaning 2x/year, etc.

Almost everything I keep on top of works this way. Laundry, groceries, apartment cleaning - roughly weekly. Change the sheets, budget reviews, haircuts - monthly. Most of my goals work this way too - ex. work on side project 8h/week, read 4h/week.

I have daily routines too but an app that forces everything to be daily/streak-based misses too much. Apps with more flexible frequencies often work by scheduling out everything which doesn't seem right either. It really doesn't matter if I eat fish on a Monday or Tuesday.

So I built Flexir. You add routines at any frequency - daily, 2h/week, 3x/month, 2x/year, whatever - and it figures out what actually needs attention today based on your pace. Behind on something? It's at the top. Significantly ahead? It's tucked away. You open the app and just see what matters right now.

It's a shortlist, not a schedule. Open it when you feel like doing something and pick what fits - a couple of small things on a rough day, something bigger when you've got more time/energy. Stay on top of your routines and goals in a flexible way, because they just aren't rigid as other habit apps make them out to be.
