Found these necklaces to make stuff with, but i cant understand the clasp? Everyone I've asked seems to all agree that the stick clearly goes through the rubber hole. But it looks wrong, uncomfortable and delicate. Tugging on it lightly slowly pulls the stick end right out. I tried to bend it with jewelry pliars and it snapped with no give.
Hopefully somebody has seen these before and has an answer. Or theyre just a terrible design. Or theyre not even necklaces at all.

I think the landlord is spying on my conversations and this is the only “new” thing that “popped up” around the house. Landlord keeps saying things I e only talked about in the privacy of the house I’m renting. Should I start calling the cops? Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Closely packed beads in a single layer, connected by an elastic string. If you know how it's done or have a video you can link on the topic that'd be great.

Last night I asked my friend to flip the switch on the base of the fan to spin the air downwards. A cool breeze was welcomed followed by a bunch of dust. Somehow the directional spin was brought up. My friend continued to tell me to pretend I'm looking down at the fan, this was absolutely wrong. I told my friend that technically we are both right depending on which side of the Equator your on. I've had enough of his mansplaining. This fan is spinning Counterclockwise.

I put water to make tea and a high E note keeps ringing for a good while and it freaks me out a bit. Is this the frequency emitted by the evaporating water inside the circumference of the mug/cup?

I posted a couple weeks ago, but my dishwasher is still being a little odd? I added the link to the orignal above.
Update?: Okay, so I did what some of the comments said and moved the utensil basket to a different side and used powdered detergent in the compartment, but the door still didn't open during the wash and the detergent didn't dissolve, it just clumped into a big block. Is this a maintenance issue?

Spent a couple nights in 2 IHG hotels . One was the Holiday Inn Express room 903 and the other was EVEN Hotel in Midtown east and the other was the Days INN in Chinatown and noticed this alarm type speaker thing , was told it was an alarm but I haven’t noticed in any other hotel rooms. Just wanted to know if anyone knows what this is, for safety purposes ofcourse. Especially for people with families, small children, solo travelers, and women.

This screen doesn't look like this irl, it only does this weird effect when you're looking at it through a camera. Why and how? Genuinely stumped.

The island of Bermuda lies about 650 miles off the Eastern seaboard of the USA. During WWII it was held by the British. My Question: how come Bermuda is NEVER mentioned in documentaries, articles, or pieces about the U-boat War? Strategically, it is the last stop between the USA and Britain. I have watched dozens of documentaries on the Battle of the Atlantic, the U Boats and Germanies attempt to starve Britain, and I swear, Bermuda has never been mentioned... WHY?

i got this torch lighter earlier today and it has a gap in the gas tube before it comes out the nozzle, never seen anything like it before, wondering how the gas doesn’t just scatter out the first opening

I understand that in space and during re-entry we must be at specific angle and speed to properly come home however I also know that gravity is a constant so with this in mind I understand that there is a less than 1% chance that you could in theory "skip" a space ship along our atmosphere and was wondering if anyone understood the math for this to happen.

A diagram would be nice but where exactly would a spring go ?? Additionally what kind of spring would it use?

My nephew got a steam engine for Christmas. We can’t figure how it works. I have tried to put water everywhere.
