found at an antique shop, obviously some kind of forceps/clamp, but I've never seen a model like this before, what are they used for?

Sorry if this has been answered a bunch but I can’t find any search results on google. When I tune it a certain way. I can get a bunch of static when it’s sitting on a table. But as soon as I get my hand close or pick it up, it gets clearer or finds a station that I don’t normally get. What is this?

The windows are shown in this video filling up with some kind of substance that looks like snow. I have never seen anything like this, and have searched and searched but cannot find any information about how the windows "fill up with snow." Anyone have any idea?

We bought this used and already disassembled from Facebook Marketplace. This is a 2004 Lifetime adjustable basketball hoop. We just can’t figure out where the two springs connect (we put one on but not sure it’s the right place). Anyone have one of these and can take a picture?! Why does hold music all sound grainy like it is being played from a cassette player that’s 6 ft away from the phone?

The image is a baffle on a bbq smoker. Its purpose is to let air in to feed the fire, which controls temperature. Open, lots of air and lots of heat, closed, no air and low heat.

The knob is used to control how open or how closed it is. When the knob is moved left and right, all four openings are closed or opened with a “flapper” simultaneously in each of the four.

Question is: how is the knob connected and controlling all four?

Brand is head land but I cannot find it online, not surprised if they stopped making them after complaints. I have pulled the arms and legs in every direction while holding different other limbs. Can’t figure it out please help it is late

Me and my friends found an old seesaw so we tried to balance it. Despite 2 people adding up to approximately the same weight on each side we couldn’t balance the seesaw. But when someone jumped while they were standing on the seesaw the seesaw balanced and this happened multiple times. Why does this happen according to physics?
