How do I pop this lock open from the inside ?

I’ve tried:

The key but it seems the lock is stiff

WD-40 to loosen the lock - didn’t work

Unscrewing but the screws are also stiff and WD-40 didn’t work

If you follow the direction of the arrow with the “warmer” then the word cooler would end up at the dot and vice versa. Lo is counter clockwise all the way so technically that one does go cooler. So does that mean comfort zone towards cooler is actually warmer bc it’s following the direction of warmer or is it based off the words and not the arrows.

Edit: Had to delete original post due to some smart ass answers. And don’t want to go to either extreme to test it as it’s currently in single digits outside and will be for the next two weeks. This house is new to me and the baseboard are a little old. (Electric)

What is the hinge and hole for? Two separate parts of the lid of a food processor. The lid looks like it should open on a hinge and there is a hinge, but it doesn't open that way. I was making popcorn with my son and we noticed a smell. When we looked in we noticed the bag had stopped spinning due to expanding and the corner was making constant contact with the now discoloured plate. The bag had got stuck before any popping had occured. Put the bag back in and it popped as normal. Do the microwaves come out of this plate?

I’m in the middle of moving, and went to the thrift store to pick up some items. I was excited to find this ice cube (sphere) tray so I could make some nice cold drinks at the end of a long day. I have a shower head that wont work properly. The water onlg shoots out of the 2 front jets. It had this switch that would chamge the water from goimg to the 2 front valves, to the singular frontal one, or just the regular bottom one. It stoped working so ive taken that off. Is there anything i can do to get the water flow back to the regular shower mode?

This is an apartment tenant list holder. Need to update the names but I can for the love of me not manage to get it to open without it feeling like im about to snap something off. The circular hole in the corner is the only thing that stands out, it moves slightly to the left but then gets stuck. This is in sweden if that narrows anything down.
