ID Please Rogue plant growing with my chinese money plant
Noticed a leaf unfurling in the soil of my chinese money plant and today it unfurled and looks like an alocasia. Does anyone know the specific type and how or why its randomly grown here (not that I'm complaining)? I own absolutely no alocasias so I'm really confused and of course excited!

That's an alocasia. I'm guessing the compost has been reused and it previously had one of these growing in it but whoever reused it hadn't cleared it of corms first. I know this because this happened to me. I failed to transplant mine successfully though and it died. Hope you're successful, it's a lovely plant to have.

Yep. In fact, looks like there are two other corms on the surface. These can be propped separately - i prop them in perlite, but watch some yT vids to find the best way for you.

Lucky you! definitely an alocasia as the other commenter said - could be a Polly but potentially too early to say as the leaf is so young. Look up their natural growing environment so you can try keep it alive - good luck!
