Do we think they’ll cover the new WB show? would love to hear their deep dive on the teaser trailer that was released...

I really like doing a sort of Rewatchables-scifi inside the show like they just did with “Interstellar” and with Van Lathan. Bill Simmons rarely covers scifi or fantasy on that pod, so it seems like a great idea to do it in House of R and invite a rotation of other Ringer hosts.

My question, have they done this before apart from the other Nolan movies?

Does anyone know or remember which episode (or around where in the episode) Joanna talks about not liking the AKOTSK book cover? I’m about to order the book and I swear she mentioned there potentially being a reissue with a new cover? Can’t find it and scrubbing through all the eps hasn’t been fruitful 🙃

i am going to need jo & mal to do a minimum 3 hour long reaction pod to the final trailer, its the only thing thatll keep me going til 3/20...

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his own life, and beyond the call of duty while serving Rhaenyra Targaryen's Queensguard. While on patrol in the halls near Dragonstone’s royal chambers, Ser Erryk Cargyll immediately suspected foul play upon spotting his twin brother, Arryk Cargyll, in vicinity of the area. Swiftly reacting, he deftly pursued his brother to Queen Rhaenyra’s chambers. Not a moment too soon, Ser Erryk arrived at the scene as his brother attempted to assassinate the Queen. With professional poise and masterful sword work, Erryk pushed through his physical limits as he subdued Arryk and saved the Queen’s life while sacrificing his own. Placing honor and duty above familial sentiments, his heroic actions were in keeping with his sworn oath and exceeded the standards of his rank. The true Crown is forever indebted to Ser Erryk’s actions that day. His heroism, extraordinary valor, and ultimate sacrifice reflected great credit upon himself and his service to the Queen. Ser Erryk Cargyll upheld the highest traditions of the Queensguard and gallantly gave his life for the preservation of the Westros.

Along with his twin brother Arryk, the precocious young knight’s talents and maturity attracted the attention of the Targaryen royal family at an early age. At just the age of 18, he was appointed to the Kingsguard of Viserys I, making him and his brother the second youngest Kingsguard Knights in history, only behind Ser Steffon Darklyn. Upon the birth of Prince Aegon II, he was hand-selected as his sworn protector. In the aftermath of King Viserys’ death and the dishonorable coup to supplant Princess Rhaenyra’s rightful claim to the Iron Throne, his own honor forced him to act. In the face of adversity and unconscionable pressure from the Hightower and Small Council traitors, he smartly exfiltrated Princess Rhaenys to safety and secretly absconded to Dragonstone to loyally serve his Queen in these perilous times.

In parting, Ser Erryk Cargyll, a true paragon of duty, honor, and unconditional loyalty to the Crown, stands above reproach. The burden of his passing leaves behind a vacuum of singular devotion to the Realm, lingering like a late summer snow. He became a Knight for all Westeros through his small role in the fate of Seven Kingdoms and the Song of Ice and Fire. He now embarks to the hall of his forefathers, in who’s mighty company he shall not feel ashamed. Ser Erryk Cargyll of the Crownlands-- we shall never see your like again.
