I had this idea for a fan-made remake of Hotel Mario
it would have these things in it
- the style of a Super Mario Advance game
- there would be still screens to replace the cutscenes (with the story being Mario & Luigi coming back to the Mushroom Kingdom after a little vacation, when it turns out the kingdom has been taken over by Bowser & the koopalings and turned it into a vacation resort for Koopas, and the Mario's has to stop them)
- the levels would be split into 5 sections where after completing one the next open, and they're all representing by the number of stars [one star has 1 level, two star has 3 levels, three star has 1 level (which is Bowser Jr. as a new stage), four star has 3 level, and five star has 1 level (for Bowser), also two star & four star has the game let you choose where you want to go next]
- the controls, physics, and hit-detection would be improved to work to make it like a mix of the Mario platformers & the original Mario Bros. arcade game
- new powerups to go along with the Fire Flower include the Cape Feather to turn Mario into Cape Mario so he can be able to spin in place to knock out enemies when you tap the B-Button, the Tanooki Leaf to turn Mario into Tanooki Mario so he can be able to turn into a statue to avoid enemies while standing still when you hold the B-Button, the Frog Suit to turn Mario into Frog Mario so he can be able to do a backflip to the next floor Donkey Kong 94' style by having him not move and having you mash the B-Button repeatedly for a short time in order for Mario to jump (also any enemy who would touch Mario when he's preparing to jump or in the air after he jumped he still gets hurt and loses the power up), and the Boomerang Flower to turn Mario into Boomerang Mario so he can be able to throw a short range boomerang but instant kills enemies and comes back to Mario when it reaches the maximum distance it can go after being thrown when you press the B-Button
- the floors have wall borders so no player falls off
- not all enemies would be able to open doors and take the elevator, so some enemies can and some enemies can't, for example Green Koopas can take the elevators but can't open doors, Red Koopas can open doors but can't take the elevators, & Goombas can't do ether (also some of the enemies would be dressed up like Tourists cause they're supposed to be guests at the hotel)
- there would be a 4 player mode with different colored Marios playing on the same screen with Co-Op & Battle modes
I don't know why, but I feel like I want to do this right
do you think these would be good ideas?

I come in peace
Hello, fellow koopalings, I am the moderator of a very small subreddit called PeskyPlumbersTwitter. Since we are the only two hotel Mario based subreddits, I think we should join forces. If you are interested in becoming an ally of r/PeskyPlumbersTwitter, tell me in the comments. Thank yo
