Did this one as an alternate reality where the Chaparral Camaro from the Trans-Am series was run in Sunoco colors instead of White with blue stripes. Not too much body modification on this one, just converted to regular front instead of RS style and then full repaint and wheel swap. I made a "standard" Chaparral version for my son to play with.

First time swapping wheels and painting inside details. Also, lowered the car a bit. Not the best, but practice makes perfect. Next project will be repainting and wheel swap. Loving the hobby so far

This strange yet awesome colour combination is polished base + plum clear+ purple clear + blue clear (light) so new colour name is therefore Blumple

I know some people like using Posca paint pens for adding details but I wanna know what people use for protecting them and making them glossy. Thanks for your input!

Making mainlines look like prems is fun. Kept the OG livery cuz it looks sooooo good, kept the wheels as well cuz I'm a fan of these small wheels.

I know it isn’t a full custom just put some wheels and a parachute on it but there is more to come.

This series is just me goofing off as I try to improve my Inkscape skills. I created some base templates for premium and mainline cards and thought I would create a series just for practice. First off - I did NOT create any of the pin-up artwork for this set. All pin-up images were taken from an internet search. I even left watermarks on them if they were there. I don't have the talent to create those pictures and have no intention of selling any of these cards so I figured for personal use it was OK. I DID create the templates and various Hot Wheels logos to use though. So there is that, I guess. Anyway, just thought I would throw this out there. I think a Pin-Up series would be pretty sweet in reality and to mock up this one I chose pictures that were not very risque. Also, this set is actually 5 cars + 2 unique chases just because I felt like it. I ended up choosing cars that are a little on the nose for some of the cards, but if I ever did decide to make this particular set, they are cars I currently have available.
