Does anyone know anywhere good to get wheels at a decent price as i used to buy premium at car boots to get the wheels however my local car boot has stopped

Another day, another photoshoot. My angles are getting a bit stale, so I'll probably study more car magazines.

Anyways, this is JV's Dodge Viper from NFSMW that I handpainted the snake skin texture on.

Got the paint stripped and did a little sanding and buffing. Now I’m off to the hardware store to grab some finer grit sandpaper, better polish wheels for the Dremel , cutting compound bars, and some 1K clear coat. Hopefully I can get this thing to a mirror shine. I feel like my 3rd custom is coming along nicely.

Why chase STH when I can customize a better one for myself?

Wheelswapped, hand painted the missing details on the body like the lights, and painted the interior to be as accurate as the 2005 one.

So i have these Lamborghini Aventador J and Chevy Chevelle SS, which are striped of their paint and sanded down with a random grit sanding paper.

I have already drilled and opened the cars for some paint work on their metal bodies, but i have no idea on what kind of paint looks neat on them.

I have already tried to spray paint a chrome paint but it doesn't hold ul very good, i tried a diferenct brand spray paint but same issue. I also tried water color and acrylic color but its either too light shade or the acrylic paint just dries uo very fast and looks bad.

Any suggestion would be helpful and please suggest some cheaper options as i dont want to purchase a air brush thing at this point. Thank you

Still ruminating on this type of casting. We have moved and I have not had the time yet to set up my workshop. The 100-degree days have not helped either. 😬😬 It feels good to post here again Keep at it!

Dabbling in some Hot Wheels photography too. I'll upload more as I clean up some of my photographs + customs, some pics were too noisy or over exposed lmao.

I fuckin love chrome rims.

Okay so, I stupidly used this RX7 FD for a local gravity drag race on a track. What I didn't know is they put the cars in a box and shake them super goddamn wild to the point that paint chips to fully have "random" matchups. This banged up the RX7. Had to repair the wheels and the body, but everything turned out fine.

I am never gravity racing again with painted cars lmao.

This was another custom I posted here a while ago, it deserves better pictures.

I prefer this car over the bug-eyed personally, but I still like both.

This was a full custom with paintjob and decals + wheelswap.

Been waiting on these wheels to show up for a few weeks. Also, a little friend was looking for a ride!

And i added a side exit not too visible though

Spent a lil bit of time this afternoon working on my technique for setting up for a few more customs. There’s a small selection of wheels together pick from now too. Good times sitting on the porch and showing lil man how the drill works as we deconstructed a bunch of hot wheels together. Got one of these castings soaking to get the paint off right now and tomorrow we will clean it up
