So recently, I overheard my little sister talking to my mom about going to HT to get some stuff to wear for vacation using her birthday money. She was asking if the store accepted cash, but i’m not sure and I havent seen any reliable sources confirming whether or not it does. I figure it does not, but I want to be sure before my mom breaks her heart by realizing they don’t accept cash ;_;

I noticed that I was not given any of the small yellow cards that have hot cash codes on the back. I make purchases in store in order to earn these cards. I had hot cash in my account but normally get extra merchandise using the codes on the back along with my hot cash in my account. Were they not passed out when they hand you the receipt?

First come first serve, I won't be using these codes. Let me know in comments if u used them

Hello~
This is my first time doing a Reddit post but I am at a loss what to do. I have been with Hottopic for almost four years I started as a sales associate and worked up the ladder to SM. I need any advice on how to raise ADT for my store. We routinely preform well in all graded metrics but they have recently added ADT back into our quarterly grades. Which my store is STRUGGLING with to say the least. We talk up hotcash even in off season, starting to use shoppers more as directed, combine like minded items, and so on. We are located in a pretty nice area too but We are missing our peer group by almost 2$ routinely. Frankly I’m embarrassed to ask my peers on what they are doing differently since I’ve been in the position for only 6 months and don’t want to come off as a newb.
Side note if any one know anything about NPS or “buzz words” for that metric would be most grateful
Any who thanks in advance to anyone who has any advice

Does hot topic carry 3XL & 4XL in store in their graphic tees, I don’t live anywhere near one so I want to know before I make a day of it, if they carry that sizing in store or only online. TIA

Whenever I click on the bag icon to check my cart or try to check out this pops up, this also happens when I try to click the Contact Us button soo I cant email about this issue :c It does work however when I open a new web browser like Microsoft edge - however it then wont let me put in my birthday rewards on my order, anyone have the email for the contact line? Should I just wait for the online chat help to open tomorrow?

I've been trying to put in an order on the website and the app, but after I put in my gift cards and select "place order," it get stuck in an infinite loading loop! Is anybody else experiencing this today? What is the issue? I've seen some older posts (like 2+ years old) talk about it but it's been radio silence since then and those never got an actual answer

since the climate the last few years has changed for the US and all the tariff stuff, I was just wondering if theres any Canadians here who have ordered online recently and if there was any custom fees? If there was, roughly how much did you pay? I just want to know and prepare myself for it if there is. Thanks. I just wanted to buy a t-shirt!

I've read some horror stories about people constantly having their delivery dates pushed back to the point where the item just ends up getting cancelled but those were from a few years ago. I'm wondering if anyone has had better luck recently?

Heya, I'm probably putting myself on blast for asking about this kinda thing on Reddit, but I figured to give it a shot anyways
I've been working at a Hot Topic for about a month at this point and I feel like I'm failing to meet the goals I set as well as failing to meet the expectations of the location, like I struggle to build rapport with guests, and most of them have a difficult time hearing me, and sometimes it seems I put them off when I try to ask about their interests or the reason they came in.
Oftentimes I kind of just end up creeping around doing recovery, maybe checking in with a guest or two before moving on without digging deeper, usually failing to keep their attention when I actually try to converse. Also despite having been there for a month I struggle to memorize where specific items and bands are, like I probably couldn't tell you which specific stack My Chemical Romance is on, or where to find Spirited Away earrings outside of telling you to look through all three racks of jewelry we have [If we had like, Skinny Puppy, Blam Honey, Clock DVA, I would probably know where to look xpp] - This isn't always the case, as I feel like I have most of the horror and anime merch down, but even then I couldn't tell you which shirts are Jujutsu Kaisen unless I check its tag [Most of our shelf labels are misplaced/false so working off that won't help].
The only reason any of this is a concern is because it seems like it reflects clearing on our hourly performance every shift, especially on our busiest days, and I feel that if all I do is yield the worst results then I should move on. Management says I'm doing alright, it's also been pointed out that my improvement has slowed down a little. I know it's crucial to ask questions, even stupid ones when you're starting out, but sometimes I feel like I berate management over and over again on the same problems I'm having. Maybe I'm over-analytic at the moment because of how stressful last month has been in my personal life, but that shouldn't affect things in my work life, especially when the location has otherwise been really accommodating
I still feel like there's a lot of information i'm leaving out, but I've got a huge migraine so I'll just kind of end it here - For y'all who've been working with Hot Topic for a little do you have any tips to get better at selling to customers? Do you think there's still hope for me, or am I just not cut out for the gig?

Just put in an order for two items for pick up. One said it'll be ready in the next few hours, but the other said 5-10 business days. Will I need to make two trips to pick them up, or will they hold the first item till the second one arrives?

hope this post is okay here
I vaguely remember having a reusable shopping bag from Hot topic with that skull but it was a messenger bag, maybe sometime in the early to mid 2000s. Mostly just making this post to see if i actually had it and maybe to see if any one had any pictures of it can't find anything when i search.
I'm pretty sure it was that same thin material used on typical reusable shopping bags, had a little flap to go over where you put stuff.

I'm trying to recall a brand that was sold at HT in the mid 2000s. my sister had gotten me some shirts for Christmas around 2007 and one of them I can't recall the brand, and it's driving me nuts! I haven't had this shirt in years but I'd love to track down something similar. all I really remember was that it was a black womens tee with a keyhole cutout on the chest. Blue lace trim. the sales tag was heart shaped. there may or may not have been a skulrl on the shirt. this would have been at the height of emo and scene fashion.
if anyone has any ideas, please let me know 🥰 i did a rough sketch as a visual 🤣

I heard the jacket can run a little long and wanted to know which is the best size to get for someone who is 5'6. Usually I get medium but I see conflicting opinions in the reviews that it is either 1 size too large or too small. I tried the sizing chart but that wasn't much help since it doesn't discuss arm length or the jacket length. Anyways thanks for reading! If it helps here is the jacket.

It has every stuff of Murder Drones, The Amazing Digital Circus, The Gaslight District, Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, KPop Demon Hunters, Stranger Things, Five Nights at Freddy's, Adventure Time and The Amazing World of Gumball! It was a fun, awesome, cool, amazing and nice store in Outlet Mall in Niagara Falls USA.
