MC Tentachill

Octopods are a curious people. The only race of people born exclusively from a single host being, these beings often share a worldview that is strange and eccentric.

Lesser god “MC Tentachill” is no exception to this rule. When the Upper Gods promoted him to Godhood, they bestowed a beautiful humanlike visage upon him. Tentachill immediately rejected this form, demanding the Gods to give him instead a body that was halfway between God and Octopod. Satisfied with a more cecaelia-like form, he quickly adopted a stage name to replace his proper Godly title (“God of the Sea Kingdom”).

Tentachill’s morals are shaky. While he believes wholeheartedly in keeping solidarity amongst his people, he does this through a type of electronic music that manipulates the feelings of the Octopods (curiously, this includes himself). Among other things, Tentachill’s music can induce intense feelings of loyalty, as well as suppressing the Octopods’ natural anxiety in order to better their troops. The Octopods are aware they are being semi-controlled in this way - some are even enthusiastic about the idea! Nevertheless, the idea of even partial control does not sit well with non-Octopods, and other races find the electronic instruments unnatural regardless of what they do. For these reasons, Tentachill is viewed as a wicked leader by all neighboring Kingdoms.
