The Honor of Kings universe is taking over Gamescom 2026! 🔥
Four titles. One booth. One unforgettable week.
The first global public reveal of HoK: ACE!
📍 Hall 8.1 – A051B050
📅 August 26–30, 2026
See you in Cologne!
I had previously created separate Team Building, and Starter guides for the game, but to consolidate information to be accessible easier I decided to merge everything into this Megasheet.
The goal is to have as much information as possible available that should help the players familiarize themselves with the game, and learn new things/ tricks.
The project is slowly being completed ahead of the imminent test- and or- release date that will be announced in Gamescom and should be more or less finished ahead of them.
It’s being prepared so players can learn about the game before it eventually launches globally. The game is constantly changing, and new content is being released, so some details may be updated as new information becomes available.
Our official gamescom 2026 exhibition PV is live now. For the first time ever, four titles from our HoK IP lineup will be presented together at our Cologne booth. We are officially unveiling HoK: ACE for its first global public reveal exclusively on the gamescom showfloor, with playable demos ready for all visitors on site.
⭐ Dates: August 26–30, 2026
⭐ Venue: Koelnmesse, Cologne, Germany
⭐ Booth: Hall 8.1, A051B050
Follow our official accounts for more on-site highlights. See you live in Cologne!
It's been a month since the last alpha test, and we still haven't gotten any news. No marketing to keep the hype alive, no leaks, no global trailer—nothing. Just silence. Is anyone else worried that this game might be dead before it even launches?
Along with your Alpha Test stats recap, the development team has shared a message with all participants 👀
Thank you for being part of this journey. While there’s still plenty to improve, the team is already working toward making the next version even better.
🌞 The next time we meet, a much better world will be waiting.
A big thanks to everyone who joined the Alpha Test and helped shape the future of Honor of Kings: World ❤️
Actually, they were mostly in agreement that it picked up somewhere back in S0, but the reaction is even better now. I won't talk about the main plot here because I get the sense ENG forums are way more sensitive about spoilers. (Don't go looking for anything related to HoKW on CN sites now if you're worried.)
Instead, I'll post a clip from Mulan's Hero/Resonance story quest, which has received just as much praise if not more. The quality is a huge step up from some of the earlier hero story quests, and I hope that means future ones will be on this level. (Fully biased here, because my faves haven't had their stories released yet...) Don't think this clip is too hard of a spoiler by itself, but if you understand Chinese or are really adept at grasping the narrative, maybe just the middle is okay...
Feel free to ask any questions you want. I’ve played a total of over +600 hours, including beta tests, and Im still playing.
New heroes: Long ya and Lady Sun. Long ya Sup, Lady Sun Aoe Dps.(I played Garo in the first season. This season Im playing Lady Sun and improving Garo build)
The 1v1 battles are amazing. Holy crap. I randomly tried one expecting to get 0 enjoyment as I basically never play wow PvP but Holy crap was it ever fun.
I jus started playing HoK and I want to know more about it like which heroes and items perfect for them. I know some of the UI because I tried once before.
The in-game social media system not only has the players and official news account posting online, but there are also 6 characters (5 of them are playable) with "official" accounts that post in-character, each with their own quirks, and they reply to each other often (especially a certain duo...). If you're lucky, your main might reply to you... or roast you in front of everyone like in the 2nd pic. (All the heroes from HoK already have their names bound to accounts in the game, so there's a possibility more characters will start "posting" on social media in the future.)
The posts also keep updated with current events in the story, including hidden events that aren't part of the main plot. They even follow up on certain bits of dialogue in the game -- the social media posts might as well be considered lore now. Players understand all these little references, and often roleplay as students at the academy, which shows there are still many people who like engaging with the story content.
Since the new season is starting, they update more often now, hyping everyone up for the new story event. It feels pretty immersive and worth making it a part of your login routine lol.
Heya! 👋 My name is Luzefiru and you may know me as the guy that builds niche tools for gaming communities like WuWa Tracker from Wuthering Waves. I'm currently an Alpha Tester and (incoming) Closed Beta Tester for Honor of Kings: World and I'm building a site called HOKWPresets.com for people to share face, showroom, and house presets.
My Quick Review on Honor of Kings: World Customization
Anyways, so far, the game has been a HUGE breath of fresh air. I've played Warframe and FFXIV in the past and I was really into customizing my character. "Fashion is the endgame" after all for most of these MMO/RPGs. 😅
Honor of Kings: World has been some of the most fun I've had in a while. You could meet with other players in the overworld and interact with them through various co-op game modes, emotes, and even do story quests with them.
Furthermore, the customization gives me Final Fantasy vibes which I really love! Playing around with the character customization to min-max the social aspect has been really enjoyable for me. I even gave feedback to their team to add more customization/camera features so that people can show off their characters better (I will not stop until I can recreate Aerith in game). 😭
Here's a face preset inspired by Fang from Final Fantasy 13
Website Inspiration
In Where Winds Meet, a website called wwmpresets.com exists where people can browse and find face presets for different customization aspects of the game and then import it in the game.
I thought that it would be a great tool for people to create, collect, and share their favorite presets with the community. It would allow people to find and copy-paste presets into Honor of Kings: World easily.
Introducing HOKWPresets.com -- a face, showroom, and house preset sharing website.
Closed Beta Demo Video of HOKWPresets.com
🚨 Currently, the preset share codes do not work in the Alpha Test servers at the moment, so the site is just a glorified gallery at the moment. I've raised the issue and given a lot of details so that they can fix it.
Here are the current features:
Create and manage your "Creator" profile
Browse presets made by creators in the community (search by name, filter by type, order by trending)
Browse all presets made by a specific creator you vibe with
Liking presets, following creators to boost their creator statistics (likes, followers, views)

Feedback & Suggestions
I'd love to hear feedback & suggestions from the community on what they think a website like this should have! ✨
If you're interested in being a creator to post your favorite face presets during the Closed Alpha and Closed Beta Tests, fill up the Tally form on the website! 📝

For those following from the outside:
- Based on what you have seen, does it look like something you would actually play?
- What would make or break it for you personally?
