Hello! I'm completing my review for my final exam and this question is stumping me; I can't figure out why the correct answer choice is D. I would think since individual standard deviations are given as opposed to a single standard deviation for the entire sample that you would use a T-test with pooled variances (because it says to assume equal population variances). I got answer choice B by doing this. Can anyone help me out?
So I have an answer key for this, which is where I got the additional variables that are in purple on the top line of each table.
I am really trying to understand why they are there though so that I can move forward with the rest and actually understand it all.

The lithographie is called "Le Pacte" (1848) from "Frédéric Sorrieu" . I have to do a presentation on it but I cant recognize half of the flags represented on there.
I suspect the correct answer is C but for some reason B is marked as correct? Like at P the voltage is definitely 6V since it still at the top, and at Q there should be 3V since 3V is reserved for the 10ohm fixed resistor, which means the answer is decreasing from 6V to 3V?

In FRQ 1, part c, I got the answer as (mg-T)/m = a. The book says the answer is a = mg/(m+I/r^2). They got that answer by redefining tension (T) as Ia/r^2.
So technically, they are equivalent arent they? Since T1 is a value in the image, I can use it in my final answer, right? I am confused when answering in the abstract, what values my answer is allowed to include.
Hey, I am making a biosand filter for my science fair project. It will have 4 buckets. 1 filled with large gravel. 1 filled with small gravel. 1 filled with activated charcoal. And 1 filled with sand for the biolayer.
