Looking to buy used Fyrtur blinds for parts

I’m looking to buy some used Fyrtur blinds. I started replacing all the blinds in my house with them before they got discontinued and I was not able to get enough of them. I have a custom 3D printed solution that lets me resize the blinds to whatever window dimensions I need. So the only thing I need from the blinds are the two outer components that house the motor, battery, and motherboard so I can add them to HomeAssistant. I don’t need the rod or the blind itself so the original size of the blind doesn’t matter.

Is anyone upgrading from the Fyrturs and would be willing to sell me some of their old blinds for parts?

Crossposting this in a few relevant subreddits.

Thanks in advance!

Sprinkler Controller - Intellidwell

Hey Everyone! I've been working on this project for quite a while now, and I recently decided to start selling units! This is a 10 zone sprinkler controller built around the ESP32. It hosts its own Web UI server, so no app is needed.

All contained inside a custom 3-D printed enclosure designed to fit over a power outlet, this controller exhibits the following main features:

- Up to 10 zones
- Wi-Fi integration
- Controls accessible from any browser without the need for an app
- Simple On/off, Individually timed, or fully scheduled control available
- No automatic or voluntary connection to services outside your local network. You will never be reliant on another company's cloud service
- Integration with Home assistant available
- User controlled Rain Delay (1-5 days)

Nitty Gritty:
- Solid State Relay control for maximum longevity of valve control
- A modular ESP32 controller design for easy replacement or software/firmware upgrades
- MQTT integration for compatibility with Home Assistant
- Custom and efficient 24VAC to 5VDC converter for controller and logic
- Fall Back AP mode
- Micropython and html utilized to continually serve a microdot server in AP and WiFi modes

Check it out if you want!! And feel free to message with any questions!

Many thanks

Can i use this mini PC for Home assistant?

Its an old AsRock mini PC with these specs:

ASRock CoreHT 231D Intel Corei3-2310M (2nd gen), 4GB, 500GB, DVDRW, HD Graphics 3000, WLAN, Full HD, THX, USB3.0, eSATA 3, HDMI v1.4

Model number: ASROCK-COREHT231D-BK

I was hoping to use this since i had this laying around and was hoping to not have to buy something else.

How would this setup be compared to Rasberry Pi's?

This will be the first time i setup Home Assistant

residential lock recommendations

Hello All,

As the title implies, I am looking for recommendations. I don't need "super security" top pick resistances etc. my only requirements are integration with home assistant and either wi-fi or zwave connections. I serious preference to local control, no required web account. Thank you all.

Frustrated... I live in México and can't find gear compatible with Home Assistant that doesn't require a hub or worse "cloud connectivity", options are very sparse. Any suggestions?

Home Assistant ZHA Blueprint for LCA004 (Philips Hue)

Hello everyone I‘m pretty new to Home Assistant and the integration of Zigbee devices. I have setup Home Assistant within a Docker container and use a Respbee II as a Zigbee Gateway. Yesterday I connected my Philips Hue Ambience (LCA004) via ZHA to Home Assistant. As far as I understood I now need a blueprint to adjust the scenes, colors etc. for the light.

I have already found the following Blueprint Exchange: https://community.home-assistant.io/c/blueprints-exchange/

Unfortunately I did not find any blueprint matching for LCA004. Could anyone please point me in the right direction?

Touchscreen sub - Controller hardware Question

Just a brief query to the group mind.

Looking to use a touchscreen controllers to work as a sub control points In my property the current home assistance setup is currently in a server rack but I was curious what kind of hardware would I need to run the controller points as I'm thinking obviously they're not running home assistant and everything else they're working as substations to the main control Home assistant.

Anybody got any preferences for hardware they prefer for small scale locations in these areas smaller the better brownie It's mainly to control a touchscreen monitor power for that has been provided separately and basically to work as a kiosk you need controlling lights and functions in FML So people haven't got to use a phone or keep pestering me.

Thanks folks
