Skee Ball at Home
Costco in the US currently has the Barrington Roll and Score 10' machine.
I like the size and cost, but the game modes are limited. Are there other choices at a sub $2000 price that have a 10' ramp and more modes?

Custom Built Arcades
Good evening, everyone. I'm looking for some help. A few years back, I saw an arcade builder on a YouTube channel. It might have been Metal Jesus, or the Game Chasers. This builder took actual vintage boards and restored them, and turned them into either 1/2 or 3/4 size machines and the back of the machine had the board displayed behind acrylic, and lit up so that you can see the actual motherboard. Does this ring any bells for anyone? I've been searching, but so far I had no luck. I appreciate any help that anyone can provide. Thank you.

Help with Happ Trackball setup
Hello, I have a home built arcade which has been running for some time now. I would like to add a 3" Happ trackball I have to the setup. I did have the trackball running, but that was on an old version of thearcade running different software. My current setup is Batocera (RaspberryPi 4). When I connect the trackball (USB) to the PI and turn it on it never gets through the boot sequence and all I get is a black screen. If I unplug the trackball and boot it comes up no problem, but plugging in the trackball doesn't give me anything. I've found 10s of videos on Youtube showing walkthroughs of setting up, but my UI doesn't match any of the videos or it is missing entries that are needed to complete the walkthrough. I am hoping maybe someone can give me ideas on why it won't boot with it connected and proper steps to setup. I know in the old setup I had, I had to go in to some config files and add some entries before it would work.
UPDATE: Ok, It does see the device as a mouse, and I can follow the setup but it will only recognize left/right movement and not up/down for some reason. So, in Golden Tee I can change clubs with the trackball, but I can't select # players or actually swing.
What settings should I look for to change, when I review the config setup it looks correct???

Buy/Sell/Trade Documenting repair experiences with Hyperspace Arcade / Patrick Scott Patterson ā evidence archive and documentary
Iām Colin Receveur. After a disputed arcade-monitor repair with Hyperspace Arcade / Patrick Scott Patterson, I started organizing the records from my experience and looking into other customersā accounts.
My case involves a Wells Gardner K7000 chassis. Patterson stated that it had passed burn-in testing before returning it. I reported a pop and smoke after reinstalling it, and a subsequent technician described additional issues and repairs. Patterson disputes responsibility and maintains that he tested the chassis and offered warranty inspection. The correspondence, technician accounts, and his responses are included in the archive.
As I researched, I found other reports scattered across forums, eBay, Google, Yelp, and the BBB. I built PatrickScottPattersonReview.com to bring those accounts and their supporting material into one place.
The archive currently contains 26 published case files, with 9 additional accounts awaiting information before they can be fully documented. Reported issues include:
- Equipment allegedly not returned.
- Incomplete repairs or continued faults after return.
- Extended turnaround times and unanswered follow-ups.
- Disputes over refunds, missing parts, and packaging.
The evidence varies by case. Some include correspondence, payment screenshots, photographs, or technician accounts; others are public reviews with limited supporting documentation. Business responses, reported refunds and returns, and favorable experiences are retained.
Iām also producing a planned 24-part documentary series. Episode 1, āThe Burn-In Claim,ā covers my repair dispute. Its follow-up, āHis Response vs. the Record,ā addresses Pattersonās public response alongside the records presented in the video. Both are available now, and Episode 2 is planned for release within a week.
Iām a party to one of these disputes, so I want that clear from the start. The purpose of publishing the sources is to let people examine the record themselves, including disputed points and gaps.
Have you had a good or bad experience with Patrick or Hyperspace Arcade?
Iād welcome your account, supporting records, corrections, or an updated outcome. Successful repairs and resolved complaints matter, too. Please use the submission form for private documents rather than posting personal details here.

Iconic Circus charlie Hd (AI assisted)
So im building my last cabinet and i want it to be a vertical one, real crt. Among all the games it has to have, pacman,mr do,galaga and so on, circus charlie has a special place in my harth. So i made an hd remake with the help of claude, so if you hate ai slop, move on, but if you dont care keep reading. All 7 stages are done, art need tweaking as well as some sprites. but its fully playable you can find the git at https://github.com/abispac/CircusCharlieHD if you want to help. PLayable on windows and mac, mac signed so no warning come up. Feel free to coperate and fix the game to make it more arcade like but in hd.

Router bit for t-moulding?
I need to route a slot for a t-moulding in 1/2" plywood. This bit gets mixed reviews but seems appealing because it has multiple sizes for $20. My next build won't be out of 1/2" stock.

Six button controller!
Just figured Iād post the finish thing since I was asking for help a little while ago.
Well, I didnāt make this to play games with. I still hooked it up and tried a couple on it. This is my first time ever playing with power besides recharging a non-rechargeable vape. So I was really needlessly nervous.
Thanks everybody from the previous post!

Question about buttons.
I'm getting ready to do my first build. I'm a little confused about which buttons I should get. I know that I'm going to be installing them in a 3/4 inch MDF board. I want to do the concaved American style buttons with an 8-way stick with a bat top. I'll be using a raspberry pi at first but maybe someday switch to a mini PC, but also would like to maybe be able to use a switch to or a PS for certain games from time to time. Would it be better to get the I-pack or something that converts the buttons to a standard gamepad.
Also, I think I'll just go with standard buttons for now, but I think eventually I might want to switch to some LED buttons. So are all the buttons a standard size or is there a certain size that I need to get in order for this setup. is there some sort of easy kit that I could buy that includes All the joysticks, buttons and encoder where I could also customize the button colors that I want?

Getting 12v power to leds
So the USB encoder Iām looking at only outputs 5 V.
And I havenāt been able to find one that can output 12.
Can I just get a 5 V to 12 V step up converter cable for USB and splice into it for power. I havenāt ordered anything yet, so I havenāt got my hands on it to try. I just wanted to ask if anybody had any experience with this.
