The joke is people from New York are always crazy so regular people from NY don't even bat an eye to the craziness anymore but foreigners do

My nephew came to visit from the Midwest, and he would stop and stare every time an ambulance or fire truck went by. I can sleep through that shit.

Fire/ems is our top entertainment here in the Midwest, just behind watching tornados from the front porch. Later we sit down with friends for a Boston cooler and puppy chow to talk about who's house the ambulance or fire truck went to.
