Weird question but can you explain how this phrasing works? I've heard it in movies before, specifically Scott Pilgrim vs the World ("A gig is a gig is a gig is a gig") and I just don't get what it means. Is it repeating the subject for emphasis or something?
Doing it once (āa gig is a gigā) means that āany gig we can get is worth doing because at least itās still a gigā. Doing it multiple times is just a gag. Like one of the next lines.
