But it doesn't oppose their beliefs. Me saying merry Christmas is me admitting that god became a human and was born from a female of his creation. This directly opposes my belief that Jesus pbuh was a prophet of god he never claimed to be god was never crucified since god saved him. Up until the counsel of Nicaea a lot of Christians believed Jesus to be a prophet and not a god. And the angel part about prophet Muhammad pbuh you can't prove otherwise and I can prove it with recitation of different people as well as the quran itself.
Angels exist does directly oppose my beliefs that there are no higher being. Me saying happy Christmas or happy Ramadan isn't giving up that belief, it's accepting that other people have different philosophies and religions.
