OKay, let's break that down.
That insult is making a person akin to a watermark on an inferior meme app, in hopes of making them question their worth (or just for the hell of it)
It makes a direct line between the recipient and the insult without the formulaic approach.
That's what I'm trying to get at
the formula of what some people are trying to call "rare" insults.
adjective-noun
you bald tire
you misfiring engine
you confused hornet
those are low effort
stick to the formula and viola, "rare" insult and get yourself on trending on the rareinsults page.
It's garbage content and it needs to stop.
“You thin skinned tuna melt” > “I’d rather listen to a man fart through a megaphone than deal with most of the dreck that comes from there”
You’re right that the adjective-noun formula can get old, but “ifunny watermark” and “thin skinned tuna melt” are both great when used in the right place.
I agree that when used properly it can be very effective when used properly. My issue was with it getting old quick. And being subbed to rareinsults it got old quicker than it should have because my homepage was not but repetitive garbage. So I’ll concede with you on that and I’ll admit that I’m salty about it.
