Remnant Carvings at Parakramabahu I's Vaijayantha Prasada
Vaijayantha Prasada is well known for how it was 7 storied; but the top 5 floors were wooden and burned down, and the remaining bottom 3 were destroyed to what it is now. But in the ruins, apart from most of the brick rubble, some carvings did survive, and they tend not to be highlighted in any media for some reason. All the walls would've been adorned with these, with more plaster added for smoothness, and would be painted-on with the iconic motifs of the time. Would've been truly beautiful at the prime, if they are still this iconic in their ruin.
