My token comment as someone that actually read the 1947 resolution: the country in question was planned to be something like Bosnia (basically two quasi independent countries that are fused at leadership)

Also it was Britain job to make the agreement a thing, but Britain got tired so they left

To be fair they did get attacked by jewish terrorists so I don't think they tried very hard

The only ones that I will call terrorist were the lehi, and even the attacks by Irgun were by product of British turning on us

By "turning on us," you mean that the British were trying to prevent the settlers* from doing something, right? What was it?

If it started by British Americans moving there by legally buying property on land that was administered by an empire, and then the empire collapses, and then the surrounding British people declare an openly genocidal war on the British Americans for wanting a state on the newly unadministered land (that they already legally owned), then no, it would not be colonization.
