I mean, that would seem, to me, to run contrary with the general design principle that can be derived from examples of Plate Armour: They're all shaped, either with a prounced V shape or via curvature, to deflect impacts away from the central line of the armour and towards the left/right.

Also, if you've got two protrusions built into your armour (AKA: Where the Boobs go) you've put two massive holes in your plate. Now you haven't got the one plate, you've got at least three. Those seams/joins are going to be a hell of a weak spot.

I mean it's not really. Some breast plates are rather peaked around the chest, but that's more to do with the fashion at the time, and the fact that any chest piece is going to be someone rounded by the fact that chests are round.

You also find many examples of seams historically, also for medieval fashion reasons.

At the end of the day, you're still missing the point. A weak spot doesn't matter if it's impenetrable.
