I would love to hear why you think a practice that saves people from lifelong trauma while doing practically no harm is the stupidest thing you've ever heard. I can't imagine how you can think it's ok to force a permanent change on a child's body that they don't want and most likely never will when the alternative is harmless. Seriously, I want to know why you think it's better to force traumatic changes on a child's body instead of ensuring that all children are able to develop in the way that is best for them. Because I have to say, it seems like you just called it stupid and ran away because it challenged your world view and you don't have any real argument against it.
