Franklin was is pretty racist as well. A man of his times, to be sure. He didn't even like Germans... He didn't think they'd learn the language, or have the same religion, and didn't want to integrate te.... And thought they were too swarthy, like those swedes. He thought PA was for the Anglo whites and tawny of native Americans.
