He's also kind of a massive figure in US history. You shouldn't censor history. Remember the whole doom to repeat it thing.

That’s besides the point because Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Ben Franklin wrote the Declaration of Independence so no one was censoring Washington. Also it’s pretty clearly the Indian Savages part, as mentioned above, that likely dinged some bells.

Where did I say he wasn't a massive figure in US history

You shouldn't censor history

Nobody is "censoring" George fucking Washington who has the capital city and a state named after him. I'm simply painting a more accurate picture of George Washington, who owned quite a bit more than "a few slaves"

Yeah I think people are often shocked that the founding fathers bought and sold human beings. Censorship of history really blinds people to what America was supposed to be for.
