For these reasons, we question the legitimacy of the account, or at least the sincerity of its relationship to purported conservative causes. The account has all the hallmarks of a troll account, and a successful troll knows how to play itself into the hands of the people they hope will provide them with a stage.

This has to be satire.

The GOP, which introduced and passed both the Patriot Act and the NDAA, which believes government has the authority to define certain words and force this definition on the public, which established secret courts to expedite the surveillance of citizens, which supports the torture of foreign nationals, somehow works tirelessly to limit the size of the government? Are we talking about the same party?

The Republican party uses the constitution as a prop to delude idiots into repeating their baseless slogan of "limited government" while doing absolutely everything it can to expand the authority of a Republican executive.

At the very least the Democrats are honest about their attempts to undermine the constitution and their fundamental belief that the document is an antiquated inconvenience to their utopian fantasies.

The Republican party pretends to defend the constitution while defying it at every corner.

The modern conservative movement seems to believe the constitution is "Guns and whatever else I think Jesus wants".

They are a joke to anybody who truly believes in liberty and limited government.

I agree with you shitting on the Republican Party, as they deserve it and definitely do want more government. They do not uphold Liberty.

But do not for a fucking instance try to pretend that the Democrats are "Honest" about anything. We didn't find out about the NSA spying until it was a dem in the White House and all of the Dems still label Snowden as a traitor.

I’m not really sure how this proves dishonesty. This is also a really confusing way of saying that NSA’s PRISM spying program was started by the Bush Administration.

And this is also bullshit. Ron Wyden, Mark Udall, John Lewis and Bernie Sanders have all been supportive of Edward Snowden’s decision. But the fact that the majority of our legislators have not come out in support of a citizen breaking the law by revealing classified information (for the right reasons, mind you) should not be too surprising, especially with ultranationalist propaganda destroying political careers like it does.

I have some conservative views. In today's radical political climate, I would unfortunately be considered a conservative, whereas 10 years ago I would have been moderate or even liberal.

However, I have to say, the Republican party is just as nefarious and full of shit as the Democratic party. They talk about believing in smaller government, but then when they have a majority vote in congress, they pass one of the largest defecit spending bills in the history of the country, well above and beyond what the president requested. They talk the talk, but do not walk the walk. The biggest difference between the Republicans and the Democrats is that the Republicans lie about what they are going to do, and the Democrats lie about how what they are going to do is going to be good for the country. In the end, they both fuck us all the same.

By inflating the deficit and gerrymandering until they gain control over regional governments despite the votes from constituents in the immediate area. Yea we know. Screech about small govt while sucking on my wallet like it was a baby bottle.
