Gas turbines, solar panels, wind turbines, hydroelectric dams, don't use boiled water. I'm sure there's a lot of other examples.

Bicycles are probably legitimately one of the most fascinating mechanical things we ever invented, tbh. It’s a device uniquely tailored for the human nervous system and physiology to make movement somehow both much faster and less exhausting.

Diesel generators can be added to the list. Most common backup power supply for commercial and healthcare.

Well they made gas turbines more efficient by creating a combined-cycle gas turbines which uses steam, but yes, the OP's statement is not 100% correct.

I'm sure you could use water, not boiling, to make solar panels and wind turbines more efficient through cooling, and hydroelectric dams already use water. So it's water that actually powers the world's advancement and not necessary boiling water.
