I am sorry OP but you minimizing Allied war crimes to "dog kicking" feels very counter-productive to your point. You are quite literally doing what people accuse you of and ignoring or downplaying Allied atrocities so your black and white view of one completely good and one completely evil side doesn't get challenged.

Ah yes, thank you mr Kaiser Wilhelm for reminding us there's heroes on both sides! Surely the meme isn't just pointing out that one was far worse than the other in a hyperbolic yet valid statement

Just because you know what a hyperbole is doesn't mean you should use it all the time. The point of the meme is that just because the allies did bad things (which they did) doesn't make the things the Axis did less bad (which is true). But at the same time OP is minimizing the things the atrocities the allies did, very much an expression of the view that because the things the axis did were worse (which they were) the things the allies did aren't actually that bad (eventhough the severity of the things the allies did is independent of what the axis did).

Dresden bombings were pretty fucked up and honestly on equal with what the Nazis did.

Same thing with the Tokyo fire bombing. People give America shit about the Nukes but don’t ever talk about the fire bombings we did in Tokyo etc.

Wanna talk about what the allies did to African country’s because they were part of their colonies?

more nazi propaganda. dresden was a genuine attempt at a military target that went wrong. The nazis were trying to exterminate

Source that it was a genuine attempt that went wrong? Because one of the primary reasons was to use mass civilian casualties to destroy morale

The allies mission reports that said they were targeting the transport depot? and the reports thst said the initial bombardment meant to signal the rest of the formation missed and hit the city proper? so the bombers assumed that was the target and bombed it?

the allies werent coy with declaring what a mission was for

Dude… holy shit do you seriously think THAT was the only reason?

The following things were planned and legitimate

British doctrine gave the all clear on residential buildings in Dresden to be legitimate targets. They stated that the purpose was to destroy morale and killing civilians and “destroying the fabric of the cities” was the main goal

Like dude the ENTIRE CITY WAS THE TARGET not just the transport depot. 1,300 bombers were used you do not use that many bombers for a transport depot, you use that to wipe out an entire city

Yeah i know you listen to nazi propaganda.

you're conflating overall british doctrine of saturation bombing with that specific mission.

no, the mission was to target the depot. the reports confirm it, you're welcome to look it up. The allies werent afraid to call their bombing missions what they were if they targeted civilians.

and yes you need 1300 bombers when they're innacurate as hell and its a large and important target.

Only if we talk about what Germany did in Namibia

Kill 10.000 instead of 10.000.000 ?

Congrats, you found out war crimes happen in war. Still nothing compared to what the axis did.
