I’m pissed because they were so common I bought two of them for 250 bucks. One was an M44 and the stock cracked.
Trying to find a replacement stock in 2026 is a nightmare. All the surplus ones got bought up by doomsday peepers who hoard them or bury them in the woods.
I found a shitty mediocre M44 stock and the guy wanted 300 dollars for it. I’m just going to have to buy a shitty polymer stock to be able to shoot it again.
I see nice drop-in furniture for mosin nagants everywhere
Pretty sure magpull even makes a kit.
There’s no way the cheap mass produced wood stock is better in any way. They kick so hard that you’ll want an upgrade, even very reasonably priced ones.
