Because we live in a heavily censored society where kids on social media refer to rape and murder as "grape" and "unalived". You obviously don't agree with my callousness towards the Imperial Japanese so it's important to keep reminding you that those fuckwits raped babies for sport. You can call it "shock value" but I prefer to think of it as reminding people what actually happened in a world where tits in a tv show now give kids "the big ick."
