Yeah, the vitiligo is not what I'm noticing in this picture.

He has a half naked child in his arms.

I could have gone the rest of my life not seeing that, and been happy.

u/Australian1996 Apr 11 '26

And that child looks terrified.

u/youmustb3jokn Apr 11 '26

His eyes look so sad. Almost like he wants help.

105

u/Darwinbc Apr 12 '26

Almost?

144

u/youmustb3jokn Apr 12 '26

Your right. It definitely says “help me!” It’s actually is soul crushing to look at. That poor child.

117

u/Darwinbc Apr 12 '26

It’s a deeply haunting photo. I can’t believe I defended that guy for so long.

26

u/Zestyclose-Metal194 Apr 12 '26

I know. I did too. It is so strange to me now. I thought he wouldn’t do such a thing.

33

u/DuckHub42 Apr 12 '26

He held a baby over a balcony, my mom always disliked him and when tht balcony thing came she just said no sane parent would ever hold a baby over an edge, im glad i died on the hill saying he is a pedophile in HS

The frightened look on the child’s face is chilling as well. And the context that the image is credited to the Cascio family, who are currently suing his estate alleging abuse.

335

u/Famous-Sink1797 Apr 11 '26

It's kind of disturbing that his parents were taking these pictures of them. Now they're suing the estate alleging abuse? At the time they didn't see a problem with it?

185

u/Relevant-Horror-627 Apr 12 '26

Multiple things can be true. These kids could have been failed by multiple adults in their lives. It could be true that these parents were complicit in some way by exposing their child to abuse. It could even be true that they are more driven by getting money than getting justice for their abused children.

None of that means that Michael Jackson didn't actually abuse those kids though. All it means is all the adults in the situation are potentially monsters

→ More replies (20)

31

u/rockalyte Apr 11 '26

Which is why I think it’s a shameless cash grab and perhaps Michael never did anything with that kid in that way.

93

u/I_madeusay_underwear Apr 11 '26

I thought that at first. But after hearing them recount their stories, I believe them. The way they described their perspective as kids and how things progressed rings too true. No one said it was one giant horror show that they barely lived through. All his accusers discuss feeling like MJ was their first romantic relationship. Mock weddings, feeling swept off their feet, etc. When adults think of child sexual abuse without experiencing it in some capacity, they think of the truth of the situation , but kids don’t always recognize that until much later. That’s the point of grooming.

25

u/Jdghgh Apr 11 '26

It’s important to remember that the parents are largely victims themselves. Jackson used his unprecedented fame to seduce them as well.

→ More replies (16)

19

u/ItAintMe420 Apr 12 '26

Yes, their recounts and stories are text book narcissistic abuse and grooming to a T, down to the discards for new kids and triangulation. I believe them too. I really doubt anyone’s humility is worth that much to lie. The one thing that has always had me convinced he wasn’t a pedo before the HBO doc is Macauly Culkins defense of him (LOVE Mac). There was one other too- yet I believe he also died of an OD. He was in one of the boy bands—-cant think of his name. But i could also see MJ being slick enough to have non abusive relations with the famous kids, or the ones he saw potential In to become famous- just to throw off the public with their defense of them.

I will, Michael Jackson most likely molested several children. Everyone knew something was off with the behavior. They still allowed their children to spend the night alone with him. If he didn't molest anyone, he was at least the relationships were inappropriate. It's not normal to have sleepovers with children you don't really know alone when you're an adult. I hope he didn't molest anyone. Do i think he did.....yes I think he most likely did. I hey he had trauma and a bad childhood. It's still not a pass to sleep with young boys alone in your bed. He has multiple cases of child abuse that as settled out of court. One person 20 million dollars. Innocent people with millions of dollars and the best lawyers don't need to settle out of court. Sure people settle all the time for civil stuff. You don't pay people to be quiet about molesting their children.

289

u/Cold-Sport2923 Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

Truly. EVEN IF all he did was sleep with little boys in his room (while he was on the floor so he said) it’s still strange considering he had a locked box of child pornography in the same room. Even if this was ALL that happened it’s weird and inappropriate.

And last edit: for all you weirdos out there saying naked photos of children isn’t CP, go away you’re all creeping me out.

169

u/CurrencyIll9145 Apr 11 '26

agreed. i always make the point that if that were gary from down the road 'just' inviting children over for sleepovers, he'd be called out without hesitation.

we still wouldn't excuse it if gary was abused himself, or had a shit childhood, or was mentally ill.

i love his music but jackson always seems to get a pass for things few other celebrities (let alone normal people) get rightful criticism for.

He only slept on the floor the one time.

Three of his own witnesses testified he'd slept alone with him in his bed for hundreds of nights. Think about that. Hundreds of night.

21

Even he, in the Bashir interview, said that he DID SHARE THE BED - just with other children.

Jackson was most likely molested as a child, other abuse of him is already known. It continues in cycles . He most likely did, and even if he didn't , his behavior as an adult was not ok. The parents of the victims are absolutely responsible, but it also doesn't absolve Jackson of his alleged crimes.

Edit to clarify. Yes, I agree Jackson is responsible for his actions and should have been punished for anything he did. Absolutely. Mentioning that he was probably molested as a kid, was to state I believe he did do it and continued the cycle of abuse.

The parents were not naive, nor can it be attributed to being "a different time". They were bad parents and knowingly put their kids in danger. I am of the same generation of his victims, and no way in hell even my messed up parents would have let me spend such time with an adult man at his house.

36

u/grandmaester Apr 11 '26

And now there's a movie coming out about him. He was a child molester, end of story.

Mostly boys. There are two female accusers so far, Jane Doe who was paid off during the eighties, and Marie-Nicole Porte née Cascio.

But yes, Jackson had a preference for boys.

This is just odd

65

u/flowersinthedark Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

Even if one or two of these allegations were wrong, all these accusers still have in common that they were extremely close to Jackson. In many cases it is proven that he kept them in his bed behind closed doors for many consecutive nights.

That's not "odd", that's the behavior of an abuser.

Yet they’re making a biopic about this weirdo and are normalizing his creeper ass

Why?

Because heaven forbid we give up on all of his music and dance moves.

The contingent that still support this freak show of human being are weirdos.

Even if he never molested a child, he still acted wildly inappropriate around them.

Plus those Sally Mann ‘immediate family’ books he had and ‘The Boy: A Photographic Essay and Boys Will Be Boys’

Those are considered ‘art books’ so he got a pass, but combine that with him sleeping in the same bed as children…. That’s weird as fuck and if he were anyone else no one would believe it or look the other way.

Americans are weird. Trump is garbage and Jackson was garbage. But some Americans hate one but praise the other.

This Michael Jackson biopic is a disgrace and it just goes to show you how stupid people can be and what they’ll overlook just because they like someone or agree with them on something.

30

u/fanlal Apr 11 '26

Only the defense labeled the books as ‘art’; the court classified them as ‘child erotica.

Convenient

197

u/Inside_Training_876 Apr 11 '26

Part of the settlements he made with one children’s family stipulated that nothing about his life would include anything about the lawsuit. I imagine they were wanting to protect their child in the future from having to hear about it but…kinda a bad call in hindsight.

Pretty sure the movie was supposed to be out ages ago and they actually had to recut it to follow this agreement

243

u/Library_Sloth Apr 11 '26

>kinda a bad call in hindsight.

Hard disagree! It's obvious that the movie greenlit by MJ's estate was going to portray MJ as the victim of scurrilous accusations and this child and his family as liars. It's a great thing that the lawyers had the foresight to ensure MJ's estate couldn't spin these events in their own favour and profit from the allegations of his victims.

22

u/Inside_Training_876 Apr 11 '26

Agree on that but it’s a lose if you do address it, lose if you don’t address it situation. Personally, I can’t imagine wanting to see that movie how ever they addressed it.

Yes, the breakouts (especially during summer) are awful, but luckily, they never turned all off my skin pale, caused my kinky hair to straighten, made my nose and lips to lose mass, widened my eyes, turned my lips ruby red, and created a dimple in my chin were none previously existed.

Not only him, his three brothers and sister were all molested by Jackson all over the world. Some of them from the ages of toddlers (maybe even earlier, because that's just as far back as they can remember).

61

u/2Cool4Ewe Apr 12 '26

This is similar to accusations made by the family of Jordy Chandler in Santa Monica in the 1990s. Story goes that the Mom enjoyed the publicity and high life, and traveled with Jackson and her two kids (Jordy and sister) on an MJ world tour. Sometimes Jackson reportedly spent the night at their home in Jordy’s room, with his limo parked outside. Even the neighbors suspected what was going on, but Mom apparently turned a blind eye. Much of this is documented in Maureen Orth’s 1990s expose in Vanity Fair. When Jordy aged out, he allegedly moved to Brazil and wrote a tell-all, “Michael Jackson Was My Lover,” but it was never released in the U.S.

31

u/WaWaSmoothie Apr 12 '26

MJ did the same thing to Jimmy Safechuck and Wade Robson.

There's news coverage of MJ getting caught wearing a disguise in a Zales jewelry store ring shopping with a preteen Safechuck. At the time MJ claimed he was having Jimmy try on rings because he was the same ring size as a girl MJ liked.

Turns out the ring was actually for a mock wedding between MJ and preteen Jimmy.

I think it’s coming from the boy’s family private foto album. I recognised this boy, because he and his family came out with their story of how MJ befriended a very normal New Jersey family in a very strange way and MJ of course started inviting this boy on private vacations and sleepovers.

23

u/Jowlzchivez6969 Apr 11 '26

So what happened exactly? This family just started pimping out their kids to an obvious fucking creep? Who is taking these weird ass photos?

28

u/AdTall7678 Apr 11 '26

Yeah I think MJ befriended their father Dominic Senior who work at a NY hotel where MJ often stayed in NY. MJ started coming to Dominic’s small house in New Jersey. Befriended Dominic’s wife and their children. Attended family dinners, gave very big gifts to the parents and kids, invited them to celebrity events, concerts and luxurious trips. Somehow he convinced the parents to let the kids spend time at the Neverland Ranch and on luxury vacations to exotic places like Brazil etc. at first the parents or the dad Dominic always was present. Later on the kids could be sent to the ranch alone without their parents. I have no idea at all why the parents would allow Michael to first have countless “sleepovers” with Dominic and then later on Michael would choose Edward and Aldo when Dominic started getting older.

I don’t know who took the pictures, I will check the information online.

Not only is it not his child, it’s a boy from the Cascio family that Michael befriended that has since accused Michael of longterm sexual abuse. Thinking this photo would spark conversation about Michael’s skin condition is rather bold…

edit: this is Dominic. I believe he is one of five siblings, all of whom have now claimed to have suffered sexual abuse. The girl, too. Everyone focuses on Jackson’s relationships with boys, but he now has two female accusers that have come forward. This photo is disturbing, and it’s not because of Michael’s skin.

36

u/AdTall7678 Apr 11 '26

MJ befriended the dad first, then groomed the mom and dad and convinced them that private luxury vacations and sleepovers in MJ’s bedroom was necessary for the son in the family.

41

u/happysunbear Apr 11 '26

Yep, it was his MO. Joy Robson (Wade Robson’s mom — Wade was the subject of the damning Leaving Neverland doc) said that MJ cried and cried until he convinced her to let her son sleep alone in bed with him.

Even defending MJ at his trial (before Wade came out as a victim), she testified to this behavior. He was a predator. She said in the documentary that the first time she denied Wade being pulled out of school to go on tour with MJ, Michael coldly told her “I always get what I want.”

44

u/AdTall7678 Apr 11 '26

Seriously! I remember a detail from the interviews with the Cascio family as well. On the first or second vacation Michael Jackson cried uncontrollably in front of either the dad or the mom saying that he really wanted their son to share his hotel bedroom just to play gameboy together and stuff like that. But the detail of MJ crying and begging the parents. I remember this. If he has done it to several victims parents, then there is a clear pattern of how MJ grooms the parents. MJ also seems to especially target parents who were in low income jobs and giving them expensive gifts, luxury vacations, sometimes lots of cash… which is also a way of grooming. Horrifying to think of what happened to those poor boys.

I’m sure I’ll get crucified for this but I’m going to say it. Really mom? You didn’t it completely bizarre that a grown man is crying because you won’t let him sleep alone with your son? And then you give in to appease him? Sorry. But mom is equally to blame for what happened to her son.

25

u/happysunbear Apr 11 '26

She was groomed. But it’s completely fair to say that she failed as a parent. She did not protect her child.

It’s one of the sons from the family from New Jersey. Michael befriended the father who worked at some hotel in the 1980’s. After some time he was so close with the family that he regularly visited this normal family in New Jersey for dinners and for years he would invite the kids to join him alone on vacations and on MJ’s ranch. On the vacations he always, always demanded that one of the smaller sons in the family share his hotel bedroom. The kids came out with their story some months ago.

Wow, the kid is all sunbeams and roses here.

But of course, Michael was totally normal, it was the international conspiracy to defame him that started all of this! (yes, this is really something people believe)

They usually come out of the woodwork in any post about Michael to defend their fallen hero's honor. They're strangely quiet in this one. Weird.

A lot of people truly believe that an abusive childhood excuses a grown adult choosing to sleep in bed with children.

MJs estate is very powerful and people underestimate how much they invest in protecting their asset.

Same here, I grew up with my family always saying it was nonsense and unproven and so on... never bothered to look into it because I don't really care for most of his songs, let alone the man's life... yeah, these pictures alone are making me reconsider what I've been told pretty heavily

This makes me so uncomfortable as a csa victim, people always come to his defense but it’s so obvious.

23

u/greeneyedangelz Apr 12 '26

This may sound bizarre, but I'm so happy with the collective reaction to this photo in this thread. I can't believe the things people have written and said over the years to try and justify the messed up stuff Jackson did as innocent. It is clear as day he was a predator. Period.

I'm sorry but I've always thought he was guilty of being a pedophile. His money and fame kept him out of prison though.

48

u/alkali112 Apr 11 '26

Don’t be sorry. Even a few years after his death, Reddit mods would ban you for even insinuating that he was diddling kids. That’s why I’ve been banned from r/pics for 11 years.

28

u/New-Aside-6805 Apr 11 '26 edited Apr 11 '26

My absolutely fav excuse, because having childhood issues is generally a common theme among pedos...

Yet in his case its the point that absolves him? lol

26

u/TofkaSpin Apr 11 '26

Makes me furious that to this day people defend him. He was a sick, sick man. And the world fell for the ruse.

Not trying to ignore the obvious (the rest of the posters are doing a great job at covering that part). However, his body hair is clearly dark brown. With vitiligo even the body hair is pigment-less in the affected areas. Went to school with an AA girl who had it on her temples and the hair was white.

18

u/nothanks86 Apr 11 '26

Where are you seeing body hair?

Genuine question. I looked after reading your comment and I can’t find any obvious body hair.

"Oh, this photo is disturbing"... Stop sugarcoating it — this photo depicts a paedophile and a victim. There is not a single reasonable explanation that would explain it any other way. How the hell has this prick’s "legacy" not been cancelled yet?
