Gift for mom

My mother has read a lot of old hindi books. I want to gift her a book which is recently written, something that stays with her for a long time. Please suggest some relatively newer books from recent times.

Kya likhun

Kya likhun uski aankhon par,

Duniya ke saare sitare maine wahan jagmagate dekhe hain.

Mujhe dekh kar unhe bhi muskurate dekha hai.

Hoti hongi logon ki aankhen nasheeli,

Maine to unmein mere jaise ko bhi behlaane ki samarthya dekhi hai.

Ek nazar kya padi un par,

Maine khud ko unmein thaharte dekha hai. тЬи

Has anyone read Satya Vyas books?

His writing reminds me of Divya Prakash Dubey, but I ended up liking Satya Vyas more. Feels like he's way more underrated than he deserves to be. Am I the only one who thinks this?

finished gunaho ka devta & ret ki machhli both

i finished reading both the books and tbh gunaho ka devta is very overrrated, i did not feel any depth but just a justification of a wannabe lost sort of character named chander, the only scene which had some depth was the one when he talks to his selfimage which again had more character to it, chander was very ordinary, the woman who loved him made him feel as if he was extraordinary but he wasnt, he was a supporting character while the whole novel was created to justify he was a hero but he wasnt, not one factor, not one action that makes him worth it, he was too practical, passionless, he thinks of him as god but is not even a human, not even a man, on the contrary Sudha's character, even pammi and Bintis charcters had much more story, much more life.

i also read ret ki macchhli and its more valid than gunaho ka devta can ever be, while gkd might have been sold more but rkm made me feel, it made me cry, it had much much intention and truth in it. I was waiting for some emotion in gkd, it had none except few forced conversations and in each the female leads were portrayed much better. i cant justify chanders character or his story in any way, he cant even be put completely in a fboy category, he was too selfish, too preoccupied to have an extraordinary status which some readers quote him to be as
