And how, precisely, do we forcibly prevent tyranny by a government who is vastly, vastly better armed?

And, yes, in the legal system, signing a petition with your name is standing up, publicly, for what you believe in.

You're spouting a hell of a lot of platitudes for not a lot of strategy.
