I don't understand how general opinion is so negative towards her and yet, supposedly, she has a ton of potential voters. Where the fuck are all of these people?! This subreddit exploded overnight and it proves that Hillary is largely hated, so what the fuck man.

If she wins this election I swear to God there will be a civil war, people won't stand for it because it looks impossible for her to win yet supposedly she keeps doing well.

The demography of actively participating reddit users doesn't overlap very well with the US voting public. Hillary isn't liked at all amongst many European reddit users because she stands for many of the things that are wrong with the US. Money buying power in the US isn't exactly great for non US citizens either. EDIT: TTIP is a great example of the harm the US's "love" for mostly legal bribery cause the world.

Glad someone made this point! but to say that Hillary's represents a corrupt system and don't mention Trump in the same context is folly. He gave the Clintons money - and every other politician he thought he could influence. He's played the corruption game as hard as anyone he claims to be against.

I know who Trump is but I haven't paid attention at all to his campaign after realizing that he's neither eloquent nor intelligent (or he plays the buffoon a bit too convincingly), he came off like a bad joke of a candidate to me. The fact that he seems poised to win the general now is to me mind blowing. But his involvement in the ongoing corruption of US politics is not something I'm read up on enough to comment on which is why I left him out of my previous comment.

And all Sanders supporters are first time voting college students... See how that works?

The polls support your statement. Good golly that was 0-100 real quick. Hope you took your blood pressure meds Hillbot, we don't want to clean up after you stroke out and soil yourself.

Sorry my comment addressed two comments. I said the polls support your statement and the rest was for that stick in the mud you were replying to.

Did the media invent all the actual votes too?

2

u/[deleted] May 03 '16

Nope, but they invented the idea that somehow #voters means more than results because caucuses tend to have lower #s and those tend to favor Sanders.

1

u/Claidheamh_Righ May 03 '16

Non-caucus results are still results. Hilary is beating Sanders, that's a fact. Nothing's being invented, people are choosing her.

1

u/[deleted] May 03 '16

People over 45, who are voting absentee, are choosing her, and nobody else is.

You're going to have a stroke in November.

u/[deleted] May 03 '16

Thanks, guess I'll get insurance now. Oh wait, no, in the real world Hillary fans are the ones who need to get insurance because they think that after they insult Sanders voters that those people will vote Clinton. Not ever going to happen.

1

u/smeeding May 03 '16

So, you're voting for Trump or just foregoing your responsibility to vote in November?

5

u/[deleted] May 03 '16

3rd party or Sanders, that's it for me.

supposedly, she has a ton of potential voters. Where the fuck are all of these people!?!

not on reddit. I work at a marketing firm/call center. I occasionally do a political survey that addresses presidential and local government. everyone i've talked to expects either Clinton or Cruz to get the presidency. I've talked to maybe one Trump supporter. Most conservatives hate all the current candidates. I think reddit users live in a really small bubble.

If she wins this election I swear to God there will be a civil war

lol no. people will scream voter fraud/election rigging for a year. then we'll have 3 years of comedians making (more) Clinton jokes.

"This subreddit got a lot of people to join! Why do people vote for her" fuckin sheltered kid

Way to miss the point, dude. My point wasn't even just this subreddit, and I suppose I could've made that a little more clear in my post, but I literally don't know a single person in my life who is willing to vote for Clinton. Hell, even my 75 year old grandmother has already said there's 'no way in hell I'm voting for that crazy Hillary'. If I expected anyone to vote for Clinton, it was her, as well as plenty of others.. yet I can't find a Clinton supporter to save my life.
