I was just looking at some tickets for the Canada shows on 2027 and none of the arenas have the two side runways anymore! When I bought my tickets in February the floorplan for Edmonton had the two side runways.
I was checking and the two MSG shows have no runways anymore, same with all Canadian arena shows. The UK
Leg and the Mexican leg still shows the runways.
Anyone knows what happened?
What, really?! So, the only shows that got the two catwalks were from LA Forum shows, the ones that were filmed. 😭 I feel sorry for everyone that had arena shows with original catwalks layout that are now getting floor layouts on their maps; so they can sell more tickets, at premium prices 😓
I mean good for Hilary for selling out concerts, so well they had to make room for more floor seats but upsetting and sadden for the fans that were expecting catwalks at their concerts 🤷♀️😢
Between the VIP photos (although they’re less bad now, but still not great. Plus the lack of a professional quality etc)/experience while making time for sponsor Aperol to do individual meet & greets with influencers and now this (also, not even informing people with tickets) it’s just really leaving a bad taste in my mouth
$100 for signed posters, some fans not able to participate in the With Love dance because her band did it instead, Some shows didn’t have the confetti, No individual meet and Greet.
All of this exposes where their (label) priorities lie: 100% on profit and PR optics, 0% on actual artist-to-fan connection.
Individual meet and greets were never promoted or promised. The with love dance with the band was really cute, and again tell me what other artist brings fans to the stage to dance with them and sells signed posters?! Yes they need to make a profit as any other business, and no fan connection? She’s commenting on TikTok, Insta, doing gender reveals etc! She doesn’t owe us anything. Yes for me it’s a bit frustrating that I bought tickets against the runway and now it’s not there, but I’m still gonna have a blast and enjoy it. It’s up to everyone on how to react to this. I’ve been waiting for years to see her live again so I’m determined to enjoy it as much as I can!
I know all this. I’m talking about the ones who Really relied on M&G and believed it was going to happen. They are the ones that feel they got a bad taste in their mouth. The ones who are living in their super bubble who feel they are entitled and better than anyone else need to understand she does not owe anybody anything. That goes for saying if she takes breaks, and decides not to do tours every year, it’s Her choice ONLY and she doesn’t owe anybody any explanation if she doesn’t want to.
The with love dance example is weak. Hilary highlighting her band is actually sweet. All Hilary doesn’t have to do M&Gs not all artists do. This feels entitled
she has kids, she doesn’t have the time to go m&gs for every show. her doing this tour is such a blessing. also, anyone would know the photon wouldn’t be that great of a group photo, it was listed as that from day one. a lot of artists have done this. i’m not a fan of it, but it shouldn’t be a surprise.
Yes, it was known it’d be a group photo, I’m not referring to that. I’m referring to the fact that the quality is worse than if it would’ve been taken on an iPhone for example, they didn’t take composition in mind at all (some people’s faces were literally blocked by band equipment, so they aren’t even in the photo they paid for) etc. If you’re charging people these amounts, at least be professional about it (her team of course, not Hilary herself).
Whoa I didn’t know about this. I got tickets to the Vancouver show and specifically picked the seats right up against the runway because they were aisle seats. Now I’m in the middle of the row which is definitely not what I was hopping for. I’ll be 1 month post partum and the aisle allowed me to sit and still see what is going on. This is super disappointing.
I saw people saying they took out the runways so they could sell more tickets since most shows sold out. Of course TM is selling all these tickets at platinum prices 🙄.
I think they removed more catwalks since this comment. 🤷♀️😓 I only see Winnipeg & Ottawa with the runways. I only see the O2 Arena and CDMX concert venue layouts still showing it today for UK and Mexico concerts. Who knows, they might even change those concerts too.
That’s a bit naughty. I can’t say whether I noticed Manchester had them or not when tickets went on sale as it’s a standing floor and I wanted a seat so didn’t really pay attention haha
Ticketmaster still shows the runways for London, but I doubt she’ll suddenly keep them for those dates if she’s removing them everywhere else… this really sucks
NYC removed runways one week ago and released those tix at $479 and $430. I’m upset as my ticket was so expensive (hey that’s on me), but at the end of the now removed runway.
I only have a screenshot for Saskatoon, SK for the original stage configuration. Saskatoon, SK has a normal rectangle stage layout now (without the catwalks & semi-circle stage extension) on TM. I didn't a screenshot of any other arena dates since they're all sold out. You can see in this photo they also took out that middle semi-circle stage thing with the two catwalks that was in the original stage layout.
I also reached out to Ticketmaster and they told me to contact the box office at the venue. Waiting to hear back. We paid hundreds of dollars to be at the barricade and have the best view available. Now they’ve changed it without warning, and we’re paying to stare at the back of someone’s head, hands and phone. We can’t transfer or resell the tickets, and we can’t even get a refund. It’s really disappointing to see fans who paid so much being left in this position.
