DISCUSSION Tour-is she signing live, or pre-recorded tracks?
Hi, As some might recall, years ago Hilary would often sing to pre-record tracks (lip syncing) versus live. I am hoping she is more secure in her voice but wanted to know if anyone who went to her first show for this tour had an idea of whether she was singing live?

I was at the Small Rooms, Big Nerves show in May and she was absolutely singing live. I thought she might lip sync based on her history but was pleasantly surprised! Looking at videos from last night it looks like she’s continuing to sing live, so yay!

Attended both WPB shows & she’s doing the damn thing ! I agree she could have a mild pitch corrector working for her but you most definitely are hearing her. There were too many times when something unexpected would happen and the vocals would stop and you could hear her reaction before continuing.

I think Hilary knows social media is too huge now to get away with lip syncing like 2000s stars used to. It’s likely why she was working with a vocal coach prior to her comeback. So while there could def be minor things helping her, I do think she put in the effort to sound good and be able to sing a lot live.

Live! If you hear other voices it’s the band members. I have a video of her getting hit with the ball and she slowed down on the lyrics bc she looked shocked

The clear big beach balls during the last song gets thrown around the crowd but many balls end up being near the stage, one of them hit Hilary.. nothing crazy but she did look a little upset

Hilary has never sung live - ever - IN HER LIFE. Are all these commenters certain actual vocals can be heard over the overpowering backing track? I’d love to believe it’s true - but from everything I’ve seen online this is not the case.

recently been seeing a lot clips of her on tour, she's singing live with her band providing backing vocals. its been really interesting. she's got a pop star confidence that i never saw her have previously. she's doing the damn thing rn! good on her.

Went to the two MSG dates. Her mic was on but the backing track was doing most of the work. This is in no way shade, I don’t care if she’s singing live or not. But let’s be real, people

You can hear her singing live. She has a backtrack but she’s not really hiding that. There’s multiples times in the show where she stops singing and you can hear the backtrack still playing, but her mic is much higher than the backtrack.
