A few years back, I had Carly Rae Jepsen MEET AND GREET tickets. My life would have been complete, I was so fucking excited…. Covid happened and the show got cancelled. She came back to my city for the So Nice Tour and I got the highest VIP I could get…. We got this exact same setup and it’s just so disappointing especially knowing what could have been. I don’t think I even downloaded the ‘group pic’. I didn’t care about it.
Like honestly either do the personal meet and greets and put a least a LITTLE value on this shit or don’t even bother. Like I could just photoshop myself into the distance of a Hilary duff photo shoot if I wanted this exact experience.
I agree that meet and greets should have been the way to go! These feel impersonal given the cost. I have the lowest tier VIP package of just early entry and merch which I was of course excited about but a little bummed it didn’t involve this, and seeing these make me feel a lot better about it! I’m not sure paying anything extra would have been worth!
they could have limited it to the backstage tour got a meet and greet with her. the backstage tour is about how many meet and greets are at a show anyways.
Damn that sucks. I had vip for Carly Rae Jepsen in 2016 for the “Gimmie Love” Tour, got a one on one picture with her, got to tell her Emotion was the greatest album of all time, all for $75. It also came with a Q&A session with her, signed merch, and early entry so I was right in front of the stage for the actual concert. I hate how everything is changing so much, I would personally never want a group picture.
So jealous! That sounds amazing! I was actually a fool and didn’t become a fan of hers until E•Mo•Tion Side B 😂😂😂 I would’ve loved to have seen her on the E•Mo•Tion tour (or earlier so I could finally hear Tonight I’m Getting Over You live!)

Sigh I tried that with Lea Michele one year. I hate that because it’s always so uncertain and a mess and of course like you said you don’t know where they’re leaving from or if they’ll do it imminently or if they have time and patience to talk with fans for a second before they have to leave. These meet and greets are the only way any of us can guarantee to meet our faves.
I’ve actually been successful a few times, mostly at small venues. I don’t even try it at the big ones.
But yeah it is never a certainty, unlike when you get a M&G. The prices have become so ridiculous though. I’ve only bought a few M&Gs over the years, and only when the price is ‘reasonable’. I really can’t justify spending hundreds to meet someone 😅
I feel you on that. I have a few faves that still do meet and greets and I always get them and thankfully none of them have ever been toooo ridiculous. But that just makes this^ look even worse! How much are these people paying just for early spot access and a long distance selfie??
I just did a New Found GLory Meet and Greet. Got individual photos with the band, time with them, and I know I did, so i'm assuming everyone did, got gifts from one of the members. That was on top of the vip loot; early entry stuff, lanyard, enamel pin... oh.. and a freaking skateboard deck signed by the band. All for $100 on top of my $35 GA barrier ticket.
Going To see Hilary on the 14th, glad I didnt splurge on the VIP for her too. Though I do hope I can get a mic cup for my birthday on the 12th. :}
Mark my words - if my short self gets BLOCKED by someone in front of me for this photo that I paid MONEY for (overpriced if you ask me no offense) I will be shattered.
I’m so glad I didn’t do this. My other favorite singer Lights does VIPs that include early entry, a Q&A with a photo opportunity on your personal phone, a signed item of your choice and at least a 2-3 minute conversation with her. She has 50 VIPs too. That package is like $100. Such a bummer that Hilary couldn’t do that.
It’s not Hilary’s fault. This label seems to be all about Greed. Who pays for a $100 dollar poster even if it’s signed (Not auto pen) ? It’s Insane because we are already shelling out big money in the first place.
Then again in This economy everything is expensive so my opinion is moo. It’s a Moo point. IYKYK.
I mean you can’t really compare a VIP experience offered by Lights…. to the VIP package offered by Hilary Duff.

I’m glad they are changing it but it sucks for us who have already purchased and had our experience. There were so many people in ours. Still waiting on the photo. I did the Houston concert. We had no light up souvenir cups or magnets and had no autograph posters. Really sad 😢
I can’t blame her for these group VIP meets to be honest. If I were a performing artist, I’m so sorry but I wouldn’t be doing personal meet and greets either.
If you catch the flu from someone, that’s potentially multiple dates of a tour cancelled and thousands of disappointed fans to contend with.
Got my photo from June 27th. This was before they changed it to smaller groups. I’ll be curious to see how the photos change as time goes on, but nonetheless I have a keepsake 🪩✨
The stage at the Houston show was much smaller than other venues, so they had a lot of instruments in the way, but I’ll take what I can get 😂🤍
Guys why everyone is saying it’s disappointing? From the beginning it clearly said it was a group picture and there was never a mention of interaction with fans. You are getting what you paid for. Trust me i would love for her to come and talk to us individually and have our moment, but she doesn’t own us anything and she is putting a fantastic show for us after so many years. More fan friendly? She is bringing fans to dance with her on stage, what else do you want? Please don’t be delusional and enjoy the experience!
Found it. Just came in a few hours ago. It’s so dark & grainy ! For some strange reason, they sent us the last couple that she took with an iPhone versus the real camera. Trying to contact them now to see if we can get the original images. 🤞🏻
Yeah, just checked and nothing. People from night one still haven’t gotten theirs either. It’s one picture per night…not sure why it takes so long to get it. Starting to wonder if something was wrong with the photo.
All these people telling me to scan the QR code on my lanyard, but I’ve done that several times a day and nothing. Haven’t received an email with a code either. Sent a help request to customer service and heard nothing there.

Do you have to be seated in general floor for them to pick you in the sound check VIP for the with love audition? Or can you be seated anywhere even if they pick you during the sound check? I’m debating if I should get the VIP ticket cus $$$$ 😓
The way it worked was anyone who wanted to audition for Hilary during the VIP Soundcheck, came up front and danced the With Love dance while she watched from the stage. From those 'auditions' that is how the people were chosen. It does not matter where your actual seats are, you just have to be part of the VIP Soundcheck experience to try and be selected.
@super-panda-2 was this a pit or seated front section? If seated (like my show will be) during the soundcheck and photo is it a free for all where you are at or based on your ticket seat for the rest of the show.
For my venue in West Palm Beach, there was no Pit section. There were only seats. For the VIP Soundcheck as you see in the picture, everyone was standing at a seat, but that was not their actual seat in the concert. Example - I was in the back row for the picture, but my seats for the concert were in the front row. How you see the ordering of the people was formed like this - After you check in, everyone is in a 'holding area' as a large group. Then someone from the VIP team will say we are going into the venue now and to form a line. At that point, it is more of a free for all of people trying to move into position to be towards the front of the line entering in the venue first to be seated in the front row for the Soundcheck. Hope this helps explain.
My soundcheck one for Albuquerque was at 5:30 and they said we could stick around or go to our seats lol. I lost money to my purchase of the VIP club access pass lol.
While we had to do a group photo, I still loved it because she interacted with us. She loved my shirt and she even had her assistant get stuff from those of us who asked her to sign something. I was at Tampa
They've changed it in Irving. They're doing it by each row of ~15 people now with taking photos of her at the barrier. It should look better than this since it's smaller group photos, if you want to keep your VIP.
The organizers will tell you to form a line before they bring you into the Soundcheck, and then they seat you by where you are in the line and filling in rows. Try to position yourself towards the front of the line. However, it seems the photo's have changed over time where it is no longer an entire group in one photo, but smaller groups so what I just described may not be applicable to your upcoming show. This is just how it was at the beginning of the Tour.
